We are not privately owned, the leagues club and football club are seperate yet the Easts group subsidise the footy club.
Nick has the cheapest privately run club in the world.
Everyone lauds him, but he is the smartest most caniving bloke in the game.

Imagine the cost of Souths on Russell, I would say 4-5 million out of his own pocket per year.
This year beeker head wanted the fans(who have no say or power) to buy the boys a high performance unit.
It really is quite annoying we cant join our own footy club and have a say.

That high performance unit shit was rude IMO. To ask the members to go over and above what they already contribute showed poor form. What ended up happening with all that???

I know very little about the structure of my club. But it seems very little is out there to be known. We are a very much treated as cattle when it comes to decisions it would appear. But they're quick to ask for a buck.

b) there are only 50 members of the footy club. You have to be asked to join.
Nick approves all members.

But, bills are paid by the Easts group and The chairmans club.
The chairmans club are either wonderful supporters who pour cash in for the love of the joint or business guys trying to get a leg up with Nick P by buying time pretending to be sponsors.

At that level I could imagine some deals are done that benefit both Nick and the pretend supporters. I guess this must really aggravate the die hard supporters who are there for the love of it.

These business centered people have been called 'spivs' by others in this thread.
