he has had a calf issue on and off all season and for parts of last year as well, at some point they are just going to have to let it heal properly and not have him entering games at 80% fitness.

certainly looks like that Robbo now sees SKD exclusively as a winger, his biggest strength is his dummy half runs/kick return charges, when combined with RTS's workrate it is what really gets our go forward going.

not a fan of having Hastings and Maubs on the bench together, just don't see the need for both of them to play on the same bench.

Agree Fletch - I would rather Maubs replace Jenko and put another forward onto the bench. But then again if it is Willie Manu, then maybe it would be best to stick with the named team? Will have to TiT on this one based on his proposed game plan!

Although I agree, I guess we have to expose as much first grade as we can to Hastings to prepare him for next season. According to reports were gonna stick with Hastings with him to partner pearcey so that's really the only positive I can get out of this. Oh and maybe giving friendy a 10-15 minute rest?

I would have to say SKD is the best in the game at those dummy half runs/kick returns.

traditionally Robbo loves to play Guerra/Cordner for the full 80 minutes so I'm not sure how much game time Maubs will get in the backrow, meaning he could easily cover Friend's rest stint, which makes Hastings presence unnecessary.

hopefully after origin is out of the way and we are back at full strength, Robbo can manage the interchanges to allow Guerra/Cordner to have a break, recently their attacking game has been blunted because they have basically become tackling machines and have nothing left in the tank when on attack.

You are right they have been turned into workhorses, but they are still running some great lines all they need isto get the ball on one of those runs.

I have been left mystified at how many times they get through the line -without the ball.

Maybe it is part of some grander plan, maybe they are going to run decoys till it counts - some one should point out we are running out of time.
