  • has Guerra lost his starting spot

interesting that Guerra has been named to start on the bench against the Titans after also starting on the bench against the Merge last night.

is it just lightening the load a bit with origin or has he been displaced in the side by Maubs.

he certainly hasn't been as dynamic since coming back from his broken jaw, he is certainly working very hard making plenty of tackles but seems to have lost his ability to break the line at the moment.

personally it seems like a logical move given the form of Maubs/SST at the moment, an argument can certainly be made they both deserve starting minutes ahead of Guerra.

I would say it is to lighten the load and freshen him up.

I'd say Robbo is mindful of the impact origin has.

Im also starting to think that SST will become one of the best forwards in the NRL.

The guy can play 80 minutes quite comfortably which is a huge bonus.

He has lost his mojo at the moment, he is defending ok, but he is not threatening the line, like we are used to seeing him do, hopefully he'll get it back soon.

Maubs and SST have both out performed Guerra and Cordner this season.
If the team is picked on form, and starting spots are like a star on the forehead.......................................... .....

He has got to stop the hit and spin and run backwards every tackle. I know it's a part of his game but he does it so often he is very predictable. Just run hard and straight. Use it as a weapon when close to the line only.

Good call JC , I have always said don't show them what you've got till you can convert it into points.

He's a good player but has zero ball playing ability in saying that can defend and has a big motor

He put a nice ball out to Mini against the Cowboys last year.

I wish we could see more of it.

15 you are so off the money - played Touch for Qld when Storm picked him up , has good hands I was at the Cowboys game in Townsville when he threw a 3 man cut out to Mini.

Maybe the coach just wants him for defense at the moment .

I was at that game and I agree we should see more of it.

Unfortunately game plans are about setting up the next structured play with out variety.

I rate Aubo, Taka and Cord ahead of him.
I think Guerra has been very average in 2015.

I think Guerra is running on empty and thankfully we have a side that can cover each other.Perhaps Trent should adopt a policy of rotating players while we go through this SOO period. Guerra might benefit from that be the later rounds.

Attacking wise, Guerra hasn't been effective but you cant fault his work rate and effort. 30 tackles and running 100m off the bench is still pretty good numbers.

I think it was just because Moa was out. Guerra was playing lock because Isaac went to prop.

I think that when we are at full strength Guerra will be back in because Aubbo will be on the bench.

I was going through our full strength side in my head last night trying to get to sleep. It's quite incredible. No wonder everyone thinks we are busting the cap.
