For the record:
1. I think it ok for competition. Some good points re lack of attention by owners of this site
2. Poor form to come on and advertise the site, especially as it seems BrettPappworth had interest in that site
3. BP then continued to bag this site on and premote it and then insult a loyal poster
4. Glad he's gone
5. Enjoy both sites. It's a free country (arguably, but not here and now to discuss)

We only have this site cos The Wall was taken down and went members only. Then they closed it.

We also had Melons and Marios operating at one time, there were no probs there, most were members of both.

Some of you even left here vowing to never return to go to Melons only to return and still whinge. Madness.

The problem I have here is mostly mechanical. It's like dial up some days, it just lags and doesn't function well on many devices. It often ruins the expierence for me at least.

Also what's up some of your arses??? Fark me some of youse have changed your tune. The forums used to be all about getting some info and having a laugh. The vibe here has become very regimented at times of late., IMO at least.

I have joined Jizzys forum. It seems to work well. I will always visit both as long as I'm welcome.

I was just looking at the new forum and it is most unfortunate to see that moronic piece of shit has already tried to ruin it. I'm a bit different from some of you in that I actually enjoy a bit of an argument on a forum and I think the occasional troll is bloody hilarious. However, when the same moron has 20 different accounts and is mostly talking to himself then there is simply no point.

I believe there have been three main problems on this site;
1) Begurk, Turk, Lemon Goat, Lime Goat, Parkway Drive, Kegs - all the same bloke, aka The Mudgee ****wit. Lets not forget John/Madduke/Pim either. No doubt those two have contributed 80% of the posts here under various names at times. I admit to starting a few trolls as well in the past but never like these two.
2) Genuine technical issues
3) Chris has better things to do these days

I don't know much about these things but is the name (www.thechookpen.com.au) worth money? If not perhaps Chris might agree to letting Ism take over. It seems like Ism is keen and has the IT knowledge so I suggest we get behind him. Of course many of us might not join a different site for various reasons including convenience.

The increased chatter here recently shows there is still interest. It would be great if we could work something out.

I'm with Stacy on this. The new platform is rad and at the end of the day I just want somewhere to talk Easts without having to wade through too much shite.

The new forum allows swearing too, which for me is a massive thing. Nothing shits me more than censoring.

I see no problem with ppl checking out both sites. There should be no sanctions against anyone for doing so.
I do see s problem with BP coming on here & criticising this site tho, whilst promoting his own. That's a bit rich and I suppose why he is banned. Personally I had no prob with this thread advising of a new site...until the criticism of this site came.
But more the merrier I reckon.
