Pearce is a robot. How many hospital passes does he throw? The club would be well to start looking for other options.

Also with hindsight, Fergo wasnt a good signing. Just not a good fit.

RTS had a poor game yet was one of our most dangerous. God help us next year with our two most potent attacking options gone.

At least SKD finally found his forte. He has been going gangbusters with the simple hitups.

It's my biggest criticism of him. He is not a natural footballer. He is a robot and a manufactured half. He is similar to Cronk but Cronk is 10x better and far more clinical in what he does compared to Pearce. Pearce fails to play what's in front of him. The play is either a manufactured step or he simply passes in a set piece even if it's a hospital pass with defenders ready to crunch the receipient. OPEN your eyes Mitch. PLAY what's in front of you

Another large frustration of mine is our lack of variability in attack. Once we fling the ball to one side, it always keeps going that way. What about switches in attack Robbo?? RTS trailing on the inside as a runner has lots of potency. Our attack can be very very predictable. Opposition sides when they do their homework properly seem to shut us down effortlessly

Silver lining is that we're still winning games when playing shit. We know we switch on and don't play like that against the top sides. We have such a powerful forward pack. I don't know why we don't play off that but rather try and go around teams.

Pearce really likes composure.

Cronk has ice in his veins where as Pearce plays like he has cocaine in his.

What's frustrating is that Pearce was really playing what was in front of him quite beautifully at the end of last season. It looked instinctive. But he appears to have regressed into that nervous guy again. Kinda reminds me of Gill from the Simpsons. Always looks edgy.

We need a game plan to handle teams that are prepared to use spoiling tactics to disrupt us. We fall apart. We were steamrolling up the middle all day and, rather than trying to throw the ball about, just bash them into submission. We need an on field leader who is smart enough to read what is in front of him.

Mate its a joke the u20s coach yes has NO idea, there is no game plan. He picks players out of position and has favourites. This sums up the u20s

Players are not picked in their right positions, when having to make team changes and then keep getting changed around on the field. They play half the field everytime and only pass it to the left side for attack, the right side does not see the ball and not utilised. Too many hogs in the team won't pass the ball and then only pass it to the left all the time, including the halves and hooker. other teams are now catching on and seeing this stupid play as well. It's like watching U8s,they should be playing as a team and the ball gets right out to both sides, there is no game plan. Can't see our 20s winning the premiership and will be lucky to make the finals. Very Poor Coaching.

I bumped into a few players after that game who are not happy or not getting any ball every week and Latrel and the club could lose a few. I agree surely Robbo must see the poor coaching in this team as I can and so do others. Apparently the coach lets the players do what they want on the field

Strongest line up we can field. Not bad for this stage of the season. Let's hope the sunshine doesn't entice them to play pretty football before we do the hard yards. That's why Cronulla beat us.

As for Hastings, I'm not sure u20s is a great indicator of anything but one thing you can't miss is his competitive instinct. Obviously got it from his dad. That can only help him in the big league.

Hastings is not a fullback, but with the famous name can play anywhere he wants

Pearce, Guerra & Jenko (aside from today) have been really poor. I don't think we can underestimate the effect of Origin on these guys. It's not just the huge physical toll but a huge mental toll.

I'd genuinely think about giving them the week off after Origin 3, just so they can have a break from footy and come back re-freshened. We already know Maubs, Elliott and Hastings are more than capable of covering for them.

Really piss poor. It's not our attitude. We're trying hard but it's our dreadful focus an execution. Some really poor decisions made. We play with way too much structure sometimes and it's frustrating because we have nothing else. Way too much lateral play. Go short passes up the middle ffs. It is not your fault that you aren't intelligent to understand the impact of the culture he has brought in, the self belief he has given the players.

You obviously believe the key to success is sacking a coach after a few losses as all the best coaches would queue up to sign up with the Roosters knowing that they have to win the premiership every year or they will be fired. I am sure that approach would see all the best players wanting to play here as well.
