Seriously some of you guys demand perfection. Yes it was an ugly, bumbling win. But it was a win. We are in 3rd spot with a bye to come. SOO is nearly over! I admit to yelling and whinging every time we dropped the ball but we still won. The Titans were worse. When half a dozen of our players are also involved in SOO, you can't expect them to perform perfectly every single week.
And everyone going on about our structure. I find it very amusing. In 2012 so many on here were whinging about Smithy having no structure and how desperately we needed it. How Pearce needed structure.
We have the best F&A in the comp. We have no injuries (touch wood). Get real. And there is no point peaking too soon either.
I know it wasn't the best spectacle of rugby league but I will take a win any way it comes. We are 3rd and that's great. As I say you can't be perfect all the time".
It all comes down to expectations. We have built some solid expectations of this side. We know how good this team can be. They have so much talent and so much potential that it's vastly underwhelming when we come up with the crap we did yesterday.
As for the person claiming we shouldn't be demanding perfection, no one is demanding perfection. But we were not even CLOSE to perfection. A 58% completion rate is atrocious. We had close to 20 errors. That was unacceptable
Maybe one day you and all the others that constantly moan about the bombing will come to understand that the bomb is often being used as a defensive tactic rather than an attacking one.
We have done it consistently since Robbo took over and the results speak for themselves. And it is even more appropriate now that the opposition gets seven tackles if your kick goes over the dead ball line.
Oh I see...Here I thought that the bomb was an attacking ploy used to try and score from on the last tackle... Silly me. JT, you're wasted here on this forum. Why aren't you out there as one of Trents assistant?
Don't take this personally but you come across as a bit of a complete an utter tosspot with your head so far up your arse it would pop back out of your neck. As i said dont take it personally but turds like you shouldn't get to enjoy the success of the team over the past few seasons.
It is not your fault that you aren't intelligent to understand the impact of the culture he has brought in, the self belief he has given the players.
You obviously believe the key to success is sacking a coach after a few losses as all the best coaches would queue up to sign up with the Roosters knowing that they have to win the premiership every year or they will be fired. I am sure that approach would see all the best players wanting to play here as well.
Again not your fault that you didn't come up trumps in the gene pool so I can forgive you.
One of the posts of the year - it was a struggle not to laugh out loud in the office.
Thanks CDDoo, you've brightened a dull Monday.
You'd think we were in line for the spoon, not the top 4, the way some supporters react after a scrappy win, let alone a loss. Sack the players, question the coach, the sky is falling in ... do yourself a favour and remember the really bad times - you'll enjoy the good times we are currently experiencing so much more.
Supporting the RW&B, through good times and bad times.

So we enter Bizarro World? Instead of trying to score, we bomb so they get the ball back? Instead of going after repeat sets we give them the ball back? Instead of putting in a variety of kicks a la Langer, Thurston, Johns, Reynolds, Soward, Cronk etc, we bomb and bomb only? Bizarre.
It's about playing the percentages.. giving away 7 tackles on the opposition 20 metre line against giving away 6 tackles (the first of which is usually when the opposition catches the ball) inside 10 will usually prevent the opposition from being able to build a platform to attack from.. It seems pretty straight forward to me.
Wow, the naysayers, doom mongers and general farkwits were out in force yesterday.
If anyone expected that to be a 50-0 walk in the park, they need their head examining.
We've won our last 3 going into the bye, are sitting 3rd on the ladder and we currently don't have any injuries.
But let's start moaning and crying because we can't play like the Harlem Globetrotters every week.
Some of you blokes need to wake the fark up.
Well said Loiner.. Another thing that people have to realize is that winning a competition is all about peaking at the right time, this is not the right time. As long as we are picking up the 2 points each week then that is the main thing. Someone wrote last week that we had 20 points at this stage last year and we finished up with the minor premiership.
it's clearly not working has to be something that Trent sees every week yet fails to change. I doubt that the players go against his instructions and if they did, then Trent has some authority issues, but I doubt it. I just think that Trent doesn't see that as a problem which goes back to sharing the blame for those tactics.
Maybe you are right, maybe you Chook Norris, SITW know more than our premiership winning coach. The tactics of the premiership winning, world club championship winning, dual minor premiership winning and coach of the team currently running third with the best for and against record clearly do not work.

I think I will sympathise with you after your usual idiotic attempt to have a shot at me and also give up trying to explain anything to you at the same time.
