Lol. I've been wondering the same thing JC. I have zero orange bars and yet I've seen other members who have been on here less than 6 months and made far less posts than me with orange bars. It's a conspiracy and there has to be an investigation!!Embrace the Hate! JC

By giving them the ball? How is that building pressure?
What the game plan is is to bomb deep in to the opposition territory on our last tackle which would invariably be between the 50 metre line and the opposition 40 metre line. The idea is that the opposition team takes the ball inside their own 10m line and we will back our defense to restrict their following set to less metres gained than our previous set which will see them kick from inside their own territory and slowly allow our team to win the territory battle through the attacking kicks to finish our sets and defense in the next set.
When our team is on the last tackle on the attacking 40 metre line or the half way line I would like to know what you would do instead of putting up a high bomb? In the modern game you will see both of the defending wingers drop back to align themselves with the fullback which prevents any effective short kicks in to the corners. By putting up the high bombs we are causing a potential knock on through our chasers putting pressure on the fullback or wingers or our chasers will prevent any opposition counter-attack through broken play and effectively a tackle is sacrificed by the opposition just to regain possession of the ball. I believe that our Sydney Roosters not only have the best exponent of the high bomb in the game but we also possess the best kick chasers in the game. The short grubber kick is no longer the viable option that it once was thanks to the silly rule of conceding 7 tackles off a kick that goes dead in goal so our high bomb tactic creates pressure and is a safer option which our team have been using for a few years now and it has largely proven very successful.
The reason why penalties in the modern game are so crucial is because it can completely change the dynamic of the game if you are the team that is under pressure and losing the territorial battle in this instance and the team who has conceded the penalty now has to start all over again. The game of rugby league football will always be an arm wrestle in this regard so long as there are thirteen players on the field.
