Not really, he just doesn't return the ball well and that's the key role of a winger nowadays.

I believe only one NRL club has an offer for him and it's a short contract, I suspect he's really concerned about his future and it's crippling his confidence. He should really look at Super League as I don't see much of a future for him in the NRL unless he really gets motivated and determined to bulldoze opposing players whilst returning the ball.

Just about every club would line up an offer for Toops.

I think people are forgetting the days of Justin Carney.

So how come he doesn't have a club for next season?

He probably wants to stay here but we are waiting on various other things to happen.

No doubt he does but he would be signed already if they wanted to keep him.

It's very strange that nobody seems to be trying to sign him.

I would've thought teams like Melbourne, Cronulla, Gold Coast and the Cowboys would all be looking for upgrades on at least one of their wingers, yet they aren't in for him.

I don't think so JT. I think they are trying to wait until August to see what Hayne does. Trying to keep as much cap room open as possible. Probably why Moa is not re signed either

Moa is signed till the end of 2016 I believe. The rumour is the club is prepared to release him from that contract.

Hayne is no chance. That's a smokescreen.

I saw the stats and he made 6 errors yesterday. I believe two should have been bonafide penalties. And he was dragged back into his ingoal quite meekly.

And as R6 pointed out, perhaps my biggest gripe was the way he contested bombs he had no reason to. Towards the end the Titans put up another fluffed bomb that he had no need to attack. But he chose to make a circus catch, dropped it (again) and gave the Tits another set.

Poor handling, poor strength and even poorer decision making.

And now watch him come out and have a blinder vs Penrith. Bermuda Triangle!

That one where he was dragged back ingoal at the start of the game was mystifying. He was out and then decided to head back and tiptoe along the tryline.
