  • Not good enough

We play a genuine top 8 team today we get belted. Simple. Too much dropped ball & some soft defence, we had some great desperation defence In patches but I'm still happy to take the 2 heading into the bye.

We play a top 8 team today and we probably play to our potential.

Our problem is we are too arrogant, thinking we only have to turn up to win. I'm just glad we got the two points.

If we play a top 8 team today we probably play a blinder and win.

      That's the funny part.

Dragons, Storm, Broncos, Bulldogs ... I'm confident heading into all these games over the past month and coming up later in the year.

Titans, Sharks, Knights... now those are scary prospects for us.

Our defence is still pretty good. Our attack needs a lot of work. But if they were a top side I think our game would have been much improved. It's been like that for us as long as I can remember.

Lets take the 2 and move to 3rd on the table.

This competition is currently that close any team can make the top 8 - a win is a win even if it is ugly.

I think the only reason we won is because our defence is excellent. And it was again today. The rest was crap tho.

That performance was worse than against Cronulla given cronulla has more talent and the Titans had 10 of their topside out. Its inexcusable how they perform so poorly against weak sides given the talent they possess.. The amount of dropped ball was just breathtaking.....the decision not to take the penalty kick in front at 6-0 showed the disrespect they felt for their opponents. Seems like trent cant coach them out of that mind-set for some reason ??

What an indictment of our team's ability and prospects....

Too many out of form players being picked week after week.

Has Trent dropped one of his first graders back to NSW cup for lack of form, if so i don't remember it and he lies part of the problem imo the players can play like crap knowing they won't get relegated back to the banana league.

I suggest you watch some of those performances from players in the "Bannana league".

I know we call it reserve grade but they're a long way off First Grade. Fact is the salary cap has forced our squad to about 20 players. With Brendan Elliot, Matagi & Hastings being the extras.

It'd be nice to have a genuine reserve grade competition where positions were consistently up for grabs but it just doesn't exist and hasn't for a long time.

As i don't watch NSW cup I will take your word for it but on the dilution of talent in it and it's lack of skillful players in it to push for a first grade spot thats sad to hear.

The Titans beat us in round 25 back in 2013.

                          The rest is history.

The highlight of that game was seeing Jimmy throw a Titans player boot into the crowd.
