Agree with having a look at the lower grades.
The team at the moment is lacking pride and Anasta should go at year end and worry about his Foxtel coverage.
SKD signed new deal and is thinking its easy street as he is playing like a park footballer.
The island boys are just lazy and need to be shown the video on Monday individually.
Game plan is very poor when in opposition 20 kick to the corners on the last.
Allways throw the inside ball to MINI and FPN which a 85 year old could read and cover.
MINI give it away at the end of the year and go to the UK retirement home as you are still an OK first grader and safe at the back but dont hit the line like you used to thanks for the service

People keep talking about culture and the like. We are a famous club, with famous people invloved. If you can't handle the spotlight and people trying to bring us down, you are supporting the wrong club. It will always happen.

They need to get rid of all the deadwood (Mini, Anasta, Pearce, Ryles, Riddell etc)
The bad boys (Carney, Myles, Friend etc)
The players I would keep in 1st grade would be Perret, SKD, Linnet, Masoe, Kennedy, Symonds(c), Leilua, FPN, Conn, Tasi, Aubusson, JWH, Arona, Graham, and fill the rest with the best of the 20's and reserves.
Appoint a coach with an Eastern Suburbs background someone like Cleary.
Get rid of Newtown and reinstate our reserve grade side
Go back to being called Eastern Suburbs
Pour More money into junior development. The club could provide Free jerseys, Shorts and socks. Make an effort to increase the number of junior clubs we have.
It will be long term pain for long term gain.
The club needs a different structure to it's thinking, A complete overhaul. It sounds far fetched but to me something drastically needs to be done.
The club needs to introduce a no dickhead policy and ANY future signing would be instantly dismissed if they bring the club into disrepute. There is no reason why our club can't be the juggernaught that the Broncos are.
I feel we as a club has lost our mojo. I know we made the GF last year but I believe we had a lot of luck. This year we've been shown up in a big way.

The first line is 80% correct. I'd add Graham and FPN to the list. Nothing 90% of supporters have been saying.
Our own reserve grade has merit.
The rest is extreme and will never happen. The long term pain will be passed onto my grand kids.
An Easts coach will make no difference. Fittler did nothing. Bennett is not a Dragon.
We can't compete with any other team when it comes to juniors.

I do. He thinks that life is full of saints, and the world is full of great people, who should be smacking their heads against a wall week in week out, and go to church after each and every game.

He obviously has no idea of our junior base if he compares us with the broncos.
