interesting idea. With Ben Smith playing so well Izzy's days at fullback may be numbered. Though i think he'll still be signed with NZ rugby for another year or two. Great kicking game, safe under the high ball, good runner maybe not so good at defending?

The Warriors are going to be one awesome side next year, no doubt about that, they just have to maintain the form for an entire year, something no Warrior side to date has managed to do, but I would certainly hate to be playing them on a day they all click, it would be a cricket score for sure.

They won't win a title with a gumby like Macfadden as coach.

But if they had a Robbo or Hasler then they'd be on the verge of multiple GF appearances.

How would Hayne feel about Politis banking on his failure? It isnt Hayne at the moment. No way.

This. Am almost 100% certain Robbo feels Liu/Napa/Evans have come of age and are ready to step up to starting roles. On top that we have SST and Matagi to rotate an d with JWH already signed long term he will be looked to be the leader of the pack.

If I was Robbo and had the option of either:

            A) Re-sign Moa, and continue to keep the younger players off the bench and possibly lose one or two of them to bigger offers elsewhere

            or

            B) Lose Moa (who is 29) and build on the future with all our young props

I am glad Robbo/POS are going with option B.

In addition I think all this player movement out of the club is to position ourselves well for the future (2017 onwards) where the next TV deal comes in to play, a lot of players come off contract and there will be more cap space.

At the end of 2016, it seems as though Robbo/POS have a game plan of who they want to target and are structuring our current contracts accordingly. RTS is definitely a target they missed, but they would have re-aligned their targets and have a new game plan in place. We just have to wait and see what that is.

IMHO, I don't think Hayne is one of the targets. He wont leave NFL after just 1 year and by the 2nd year Mitchell will be ready to go.

It's like Monopoly around here. $400k, $300k $1m. It wouldn't have been no more than 4-6 months ago we were all happy with Moa and praised his ability to speak to the media with such clarity that we thought he would be captain, but now we see him as expendable. I for one will be sorry to see him go because he was one of leaders of 2013 and I am not going to go on about how much we're paying him then or now. It's none of my business.

4-6 months ago taukeiaho was unheard of, Evans was unproven, people were undecided on napa (I called that he'd play origin in the off season) and Hastings had only played 3-4 first grade games. Our youth have shown in that time that they will be able to stand up. Moa is a gun no doubt but the cap is a juggling act. Penrith won't be coughing up for Jennings next contract either which no one has mentioned.

There is a difference between not being able to pay someone and refusing to pay overs on players. Some of the comments in this thread are astounding.

Exactly. He is the closest thing we have to the old fashioned prop who only has yards on his mind and a super fast play the ball. Not so worried about off loading. You have to have one of these guys in your team.

As you said, he delivers every game.

He was shit earlier in the year.

Though I'd much prefer he stay at least until his contract his up. Maybe there's something off the field, like a drinking problem...

Highly unlikely. There's never been any suggestion of Moa having a drinking problem.
