The refereeing was absolute crap last night, QLD def got some dodgey calls their way and a load of crap that was missed. Poor play the balls etc.
Saying that, if the refereeing was fair and even QLD would have only won by 20, they were too good.

Pearce is going to cop a huge amount of crap for that game, but it wasn't all him. I actually saw him set up some reasonable plays only to have the outside gibberers stuff it, including Dugan who seems to hate passing the ball

When a team gets flogged by 50 there is something else other than the referee to blame imo.

so you are saying they have zero influence in the game. if one team is denied the ball for a full half and they then defended their asses of. would they anything left. its a bigger rort than 2010 gf

Everyone is welcome to their opinion and mine was that Hopoate and Morris both knocking the ball on in our own 20, our forwards giving away blatant penalties, QLD getting repeat sets and their forwards showing controlled aggression in the middle had much more to do with the possession in the first half than a couple of contentious penalties. Also, Thurston and Inglis are two of the best players I have seen play the game and they were both on song last night.
Others are welcome to the opinion that the refs decided the game.

I'd love to see RTS sweep around wider and be 1 on 1 the way that Souffs grub GI isolated Pearce last night.

Roger would be unstoppable that close to the try line.

He did it last year vs the Broncos (away game) when he and Mini would occasionally swap positions.

I feel that NSW will have a different 1,6,7 & 9 next year. It's hard to see any of these surviving yesterday's massacre including Farah.

hey there pass. There were 2 decisions made by the refs which was so wrong. One was when the qld kicker was put in a dangerous position after he kicked the ball. The rules state that the penalty is awarded to where the infringement was made. if the ref called tackled late,(which the ref didnt) the penalty is where the ball lands. So the ref awarded a dangerous tackle and then marched it up the field.
The other was is the second half when qld chipped and chased the ball and scored a try. the try was diallowed due to a qlder being infront of the kicker. The guy infront of the kicker was on the qlders 40meter line, and yet the ref awarded the penalty to nsw 30 meter out from the nsw try line. wrong wrong wrong. 30% possession due to a shit ref and his qlder mate

I'd like to point out one passage of play that summed up the farce that was shyte of origin three from my perspective...

                    - At about the 65th minute, NSW have the ball in their own half around the 40m mark
                    - NSW player plays the ball with nate myles standing to the NSW player's SIDE (not in front of the NSW player)
                    - Dummy-half runs the ball and nate myles tackles him without ever getting into position to make such a tackle
                    - Naturally, no penalty was given to NSW for such a blatant foul by myles (and don't tell me it's origin and there's different rules for origin)
                    - Play continues, NSW concede a penalty whilst in possession a couple of tackles later for what I think was an offside foul (ironic that).
At this stage I'm thinking to myself how quick the refs in maroon were to note every NSW indiscretion.
                    - The stinking maroons kick for touch and score soon after from field position they should never have had.

If I'd known last night was going to be all about the friggin maroons, I wouldn't have bothered watching. Lauding that scumbag fat hodgo made me sick. I wonder if NSW had won by such a margin if shyte of origin would once again be thought of as being dead as it once was when NSW were dominant in the early 2000s. It should be renamed to the "It's All About the maroons" series.
