Can anyone tell me how he's been going with his return to the ABs? Is he a likely starter in the World Cup?

I can't bring myself to watch that snore-fest of a game, but I am hoping he has a huge World Cup. Specifically, I'm hoping he owns Sam Burgess at some point.

missed a lot of the super rugby season with the Chiefs with various injuries, we played for the AB's against Samoa last week, he is going to play the 7's RU circuit next season to help his chances of playing at the RIO Olympics.

as much as I love what he did for us in 2013 if would be a huge mistake trying to get him back in 2017, his body wouldn't hold up to a full NRL season now.

I think Sonny has started to wind down his career to be honest. This year was plagued by injuries and next year he is moving on to what is essentially an exhibition sport. I think we all know that Sonny peaked in 2013. Injury free and keen he could always offer a lot to any team but I don't believe we will see him in the red, white and blue again.

I do hope someone hurts Burgess though. That would be nice.

I don't know about you guys but I hate Rugby 7s. It is even worse than the proper game. I am proud to say that after close to a decade in Hong Kong that I have never and will never attend the Hong Kong 7s. I don't understand the point of putting on a ridiculous costume and drinking in the sun with a bunch of ****tards for two days. But hey that's just me.

He'd be a high profile signing for Daesh in 2016. Christ, imagine that. Sonny signs with Syria. The Telegraph headline writers would have a field day.

I remember a lot of people out there said the same thing about his body when he signed for us for 2013 yet he hardly missed a game in the 2 years he played for us.

Funny stat that SBW only won 57% of games he played in in 2014 compare to 75% in 2013. I agree that hes winding down. The money he would command would make it a mistake to bring him back.

Burgess won't make the England team. We've more chance of getting Hayne.

Good watching the USA team with sprinters who aren't good enough to make the athletics team, but make the other 7s players look like snails.

We all love Sonny, but he wont be back in RBW, its too hard on his body these days, a lot easier money to be made out there, without knocking himself around.

I don't think Sonny would enjoy life as a rooster. Circa 2014 we as a squad looked like we were back on the booze. 2013 we were on the wagon and he had a massive hard on for the club.

                            barbarian ......arrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrgh!!!!!!!
