He'd probably be a better option than Skid, fergo, Pearce, Toops etc etc.
At least he's a fullback....

I take it you are just new to Rugby League, Roger was a fullback who moved to the Wing when he was picked in First grade.
Get your facts right buddy, was a winger first and made his debut for the Roosters on the wing in round 21 2012 and was in 2012 named wing for the NYC of the yearLast edited by Chooky; 07-16-2015, 09:16 PM.

He was picked on the wing in the NYC TOTY because Evander Cummins had a better year or whatever.

Fullback and Centre mainly, not much Wing.[/QUOTE
For the first three seasons of his career Mini played on the wing for the Roosters, but the retirement of Luke Phillips following the 2002 NRL Grand Final prompted then-Roosters coach Ricky Stuart to move Minichiello to fullback.

Always remember Mini's debut, as a winger.
He stood out for a great escape play from the in-goal, and never looked back.
From a certain point of view he was an example of a successful switch.
If Phillips was a bit younger, I wouldn't have liked to see Mini change clubs because of frustration of feeling like he was playing out of position. But that was never gonna happen.
Some players can move positions and prosper, some cannot.
Most wingers , most , would not make good fullbacks.
And Slameinkle , or however you spell it ain't the answer either.
He is a millstone around Wyong's neck atm.
Spare us from that. please.....

Firstly I am not your buddy, secondly my facts are right, he played mainly 5/8, inside center and Fullback in rugby before playing mainly fullback in Toyota Cup. He played on the Wing a couple times and was picked on the Wing as those sides are pretty much about picking the best players and then finding a position for him. You are the dribbler who keeps posting about how come NYC players want out, no one cares as only a couple of the backs are worth keeping and they aren't going anywhere.
You might not care but I am not posting for you. Maybe you should read the basic Wikipedia about the players and you might learn something. Sorry your not my buddy ... Your a goose !
Tuivasa-Sheck played for the RoostersNYC team in 2012 and scored 9 tries in 12 games before moving on to the Roosters New South Wales Cup reserve-grade team. In Round 21 of the 2012 NRL season, Tuivasa-Sheck made his NRL debut on the Wing in the Roosters 36-16 loss against the Gold Coast Titans at SFS.[4] Tuivasa-Sheck finished his debut year in the NRL with him playing in 6 matches for the Roosters in the 2012 NRL season. On 21 August 2012, Tuivasa-Sheck was named at wing in the 2012 Toyota Cup Team of the Year

Hahaha Wikipedia. I enjoyed that one! I remember a time when Scott Minto's wiki page said he was the love child of Wayne Bennett and he retired to take up a career in clowning that ended in a freak unicycle accident or some stupid sh*t like that! That's the good sauce!

On topic though I'm gonna throw up a smokey and say if he is re-signed Daniel Tupou will play fullback next year. That or we sign up Carney to a 2 year deal to play fullback while Mitchell develops. Both ideas are obviously a bit out there but I really don't believe Robbo will put Latrell Mitchell straight to fullback. He's said before he won't.
Obviously Tupou will need to do a heap of work in the off season on communication and fitness but if he's willing I think it will build his attitude greatly. He's also a real weapon when he gets a bit of space. Before the last two games he was actually in very good form following his dumping from the NSW side. He was our only good player in the Cronulla loss. Unfortunately the majority of his runs as a winger are running into a brick wall which doesn't suit his frame. When he gets in space out wide or returns kicks he invariably beats defenders with a great swerve and strong fend. I think he'd just be too hard to tackle one on one chiming into the backline. Improving his passing to an acceptable standard would be a challenge but Fergo would have the same obstacle tbh.
