RL:Roosters re-sign Symonds for three years

The Sydney Roosters have re-signed utility TOM SYMONDS until the
end of 2014.
The deal comes a day after the 22-year-old received his first
representative call-up .. to the NSW City Origin squad to take on
Country in Albury on Friday night.
SYMONDS was selected on the bench for City in the Blues State of
Origin trial in Albury.

The deal comes a day after the 22-year-old received his first representative call-up, to the NSW City Origin squad to take on Country in Albury on Friday night.

"We see Tom as integral to our future and he has the capabilities to progress to be a strong leader in our club," Roosters coach Brian Smith said in a club statement.

"Apart from his great football talent, Tom is highly thought of by players, members and sponsors alike and we are very pleased to have him on board for three more years as we build to reach our full potential."
