I'm only new to the forum but love the passion and honesty of the RWB supporters. I came across this great article on Friendy in the Beast Magazine a few weeks ago. I never realized he was a Rooster since he was 15. The story starts on page 52.

I love what Friend has to say when faced with a hypothetical....

If you were given the hypothetical option of staying at the Roosters on $250,000 a year, or playing out at Penrith on $500,000 a year, which would you choose? I’d stay in the beaches for $250k. They’d need a million to get me to Penrith, I reckon.

That's called loyalty. His career was on the scrapheap after those problems he had but the Roosters stuck solid, now he's paying back the loyalty.
