  • Shaun Johnson injured?

According to Vossy on twitter, Shaun Johnson has been injured at training.

I'd never wish an injury on a player, but Sunday might just have got a bit easier - even if it just means there's no one who can run Jenko down now.....

Warriors star Shaun Johnson may have to wait to bring up his 100th game for the club after limping out of training today.

Johnson was taking part in a full training session before pulling up with an injury and leaving the field after 10 minutes.

The 24-year-old appeared to be in slight discomfort late in the win over the Melbourne Storm on Sunday.

The Warriors travel to Sydney in a third versus fourth clash on Sunday with the New Zealand franchise already expected to travel to Sydney without Manu Vatuvei, Konrad Hurell and Ryan Hoffman.

Hurrell injured his shoulder in a training mishap a week ago while Vatuvei was a late withdrawal from the 28-14 victory over the Storm with a shoulder complaint of his own, picked up before the bye.
Both are tipped to be on deck for the Round 20 home clash against the Sea Eagles at Mt Smart Stadium.
The Warriors are currently looking for a fourth consecutive win after beating the Storm, Raiders and Titans to catapult them to fourth in the NRL ladder.

      Damn.

Now we'll take the game easy and lose.

I'd be more confident with Johnson playing. It's the Roosters way

Lolohea into the halves and either Allwood or Maumalo into the backline. Lolohea has been an absolute star in the NYC as a 5/8.

Saw him ripped his groin in the last minute against Storm
Note the ensuing penalty on the bell, his kick did not reach the posts.

Gee I hope he plays. Will be a great game and they would really test us if he plays but would be very confident we would get them. Our pigs would stop there go forward and make it very hard for him to dominate like he has. Also as a rugby league fan he along with players like RTS are what still make this game so exciting to watch!

As a footy fan going to the game on Sunday I hope he plays Provided we stop them getting 2nd phase then think our team will keep Johnson in check If we dont stop the 2nd phase than that will give Johnson room and time to weave his magic

I was confident if they had a full strength team but with Vatuvei, Hurell, Hoffman and now Johnson out I am worried we will get into our comfort zone like we have against teams like the Sharks and Titans the last couple of years.

I just a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of Supercoach player's voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced. I fear something terrible has happened.

I went safe 2 weeks ago and brought in Hunt. I can stop punching myself in the face now.

I expect him to play. It's just the media finding something to talk about. No doubt he may have a minor niggle but I expect all will be fine in 4 days time.
And I hope he does play too. We always play better against stronger teams and crap against teams we are supposed to beat.
