This whole fallout just seems a bit strange.

A lot more to come out about it all though I'm sure

I agree but I will wait for all the evidence and whether he is found guilty and I am sure the NRL will be acting in according to the Police facts after what happened to Brett Stewart at Manly, where he was suspended by the NRL and then was found not guilty and there was a pay out

NRL supporting SKD by refusing to stand him down. We know that NRL take a strong stance against violence so this is a promising sign for SKD.

That's not to say they didn't happen but it's strikes me as strange.
Hard to defend allegations from 6 months ago. Who remembers what they were doing 6 months ago???? Police will use phone accounts, mobile usage (texts, MMS etc) and medical records (you can work that one out). Does sound suspicious given they were apparently in financial negotiations though.

They let Aavo play on despite his charges. Then they suspended him at the end of the season.

If this is true, why did she wait so long to go to the police. Seems strange to me.

Man if he gets convicted and sacked all I'll be thinking is 'SHOULDA SACKED HIM BEFORE THIS AND KEPT RTS!!!!'

Wonder how he'll plead on Thursday. IMO (like it or not) if a guy has pleaded not guilty then he's innocent until proven guilty ao shouldn't be sacked unless convicted later on (or given a no conviction order because that would still mean he did it and is a d!ckhead).

Be interesting. With the AVO I was thinking 'nah this always happens when people break up... they'll throw dirt at each other and grt over it'. The charges though... who knows?

In keeping with my policy of not incurring charges of perverting the course of justice, I will say 'I will wait and see what may hap.'
