  • Roosters rookie sacked

THE Roosters have sacked one of the game’s most promising players due to off-field issues, and we’re not talking about Shaun Kenny-Dowall.

    NRL

The club cut the player in question earlier in the year, then reinstated him, but the serial offender has misbehaved again and the Chooks have had enough – this time, for good.

    Surley must be meehan

If it is Meehan and it is because of things that happened after the assault then the guy is an absolute meat head.
And I like how Rothfield's headline is "SYDNEY ROOSTERS SACK A PLAYER OVER OFF-FIELD ISSUES" and has a photo of SKD. Gave me a freaked heart attack.

Such a shame. He's got all the talent in the world to succeed but just pisses it all away by being an absolute idiot off the field.

Ffs. Hoping he was going to come back and give us the depth we need to go all the way.

He has proved nothing, no loss.

So if a player in your top 26 is sacked does this contribute to the cap? Does this free space this season for another player to be acquired, even if from overseas?

Yes but it's too late to sign anyone for 2015 now, the deadline has passed.

Loads of potential. Was a pure athlete. Size strength and speed for a big man. Would have had a strong career in nrl or boxing.
