  • RTS run metres

While looking at stat's out of curiosity, I noticed that RTS has run almost 4km this year. I went for a look across the top 8 to see who else was close. I won't bore you with the numbers, suffice to that he is a long way ahead of any contender.

It crystallised to me just how special he his, and how lucky we are to have him for the rest of the year.

I'll be savouring every game, every run.

It's almost a 1000m to the closest player.

He's going to destroy the metres record.

It's absurd how far in front he is, disgusting.

He will set as record that will most probably never be broken.

Interestingly he's pretty close to cracking Mini's record now. Minichiello ran for 4590m in 2004.

If he keeps going at that rate he will pass Mini in round 22/23 and finish over 5km for the regular season.

Roosters’ Roger Tuivasa-Sheck in line to smash NRL record for most metres run by any player

And his cover defence deserves its own thread. Slater is the best fullback I have ever seen but RTS is a chance of surpassing him.

Not depressing, just a reminder to be thankful for him while we have him. If RTS leaving gets you depressed, I suggest some perspective/distance.

Let's just hope he doesn't break his own record next year..

                    He's a busy fullback!

I enjoy watching him warm up against an imaginary backline.

His cover tackles are also awesome. He commits 100% with no thought of self preservation and brings em down like they are nothing.

what was depressing was seeing him laugh and smile walking off the field with the NZ team. His future team mates. I still have tiny hopes of him staying but it's all just a fantasy. Mini always went upper body for contact in his tackles but RTS goes committed straight for the legs and man, he brings them straight down.

Every kick return he is always beating the first few intial tacklers. He is just a freak. Can't believe we lost him.

You would be happy if Mini even slowed them down.

Roger has been a pleasant surprise in defence.
