Yeah the Qld teams aren't losing... on runs of 14-2 and 13-1 respectively.

I'd much rather we play at Suncorp. We're clearly better than Brisbane and it's not a huge home ground advantage at Suncorp as we'll love playing there.

I can guarantee that both teams will be hoping to avoid us. No doubt.

On our day, we will beat both of the Qld teams either at home or away. A top 4 finish is crucial as it will mean a week off

I wouldn't overly mind if we ended up in QLD. No one will give us a chance and perhaps that is better for us. Last year we were burdened with expecting to win easily against Penrith and we got our pants pulled down. Plus a win over one of the two top sides early on could give us a psychological advantage at the back end of the finals, especially if it were to come in their backyard.

When we played them this year up in Queensland the penalty count was 10-2 (Cowboys) and 9-5 (Brisbane).

This is my biggest concern.

I may be wrong but didn't we smash the Cowboys up there in rd 1 even against a lopsided penalty count? didnt we only get beat by the Broncs in the dying seconds with a field goal after yet another lopsided penalty count? I fear the vermin more than either Brisbane team

Yep and the fact that GF tickets are cheaper this year has me believing that Sydney will be bombarded with QLDERS on October 4th.
