Does anyone know much about the the halves in the twenties; Watson and Matterson (?) - apparently they have massive wraps on them too? Surely with the arrival of JNik one of those fellows and maybe even one if not both of Langi and Cornish will leave...I think Langi is off contract anyway at the end of this year.

You actually have one fan calling us out for poaching their best young player, and yet his profile pic is Anthony Milford.

Then there's another questioning Nikorima's decision because apparently we have a bad track record of developing young talent.

With fresh signings in Frei and Matterson i cannot see neither Cornish or Langi being re-signed.

Connor Watson is highly regarded by officials so he's a keeper. Joey Lussick is under contract for 2016 too.

With the interchange reduction and rumoured lower grade restructure, we seem to be getting our house in order - Great work POS!

Considering the ages of Hastings,Mitchell and Nikorima there is plenty of time for them to develop..

Pearce is only 26. So theoretically he still has 7 or so more years to go.

Nikorima wasn't bought to play as a utility forever,neither was Hastings!

I agree, I think there's a long term play behind securing Nikorima. That said, what's the bet he ends up doing a Hodges after three years.

Well there isn't a spot available in the Broncos 6, 7 or 9 for the next 5+ years one would think. (Nor ours tbh).

But given his friendship with Hastings hopefully he'll stay long term. And maybe he'll be so good he forces his way into a key position.

we have a big picture now on why the priority in securing Hastings

although we have released a champion in Maloney, he will get more than he needs at Sharks

in return we get the best of the next generatuon who have played together at the highest level for their age group

There's a very good article on young Nikorima on the news.com.au website. I'm on my phone atm so can't link it. Worth a read.

He basically sees himself as a 5/8 long term and Bennett reckons he has a huge future. It'll be interesting to see how we juggle all this talent going forward. It's a good position to be in.
