He did say in this week's post match pressy that the MP is not important to the team. It meant nothing last year and he doesn't care having to play the first week in Queensland.

'Camp Death' up at the Central Coast was the start of the end.

      So dumb.

A major contributing factor to us hitting the wall and playing the finals series on auxiliary tank.

I think we had more issues than that.

We weren't great around this time in 2013 either.

Just beat a struggling Raiders side (Fergo destroyed us), smashed an inept Tigers team (was them being bad rather than us being good), lost to the Sharks and then lost to the Titans in easily our worst performance of the year.

We then clicked vs the Vermin in Round 26 for the MP.

So I'd say we're travelling more like 2013 than 2014 personally. We were firing on all cylinders this time last year. The run was just slightly early... our 3 or 4 best weeks of the 2014 season were around this time.

You may be right. Though in 2013 I had the feeling we were going to hit our potential much more than I have this season.

SKD is a massive loss. Since he has been gone our right side defence has been a real achilles heel for us.

Manly would be my concern if they were already in the 8, They may be spent if they make the finals by playing 6 weeks of sudden death footy already.

For some reason, the cows don't concern me, thurston only has to play a little below par, and they are shot.

The dogs seem to win at the right time of the season, but can't see their halves winning them the big one.

I think souths us and the broncos,

Broncos have a solid all round team, souths have won a premiership now, so they may not have that burden on them anymore, for us, if pearce lifts his form by a fraction, and we address our right side problems, we should be the premiers with a fully fit and un-suspended squad.

I've got my doubts SKD will be back this year. His next court hearing is Sept 17th the day before week 2 of the semis. If he is unable to come back this weekend , after the next court hearing on sept 17 is 1 week before semi finals and then followed by grand final...not much football under his belt if Robbo needs to wait till then !

We did have other issues. However, the final straw was the Napa and Guerra suspensions and resultant loss to the Panthers. Our forwards were spent after the Cowboys game.

the right edge defense of Pearce/Fergo/Elliot will decide whether we win the comp or not, if they defend like they have the last couple of weeks we have no chance.

Milford/Boyd this week, Foran/Stewart next week and then Reynolds/Inglis in round 26 will be a perfect test for our right edge defense leading into the finals.

We do have another gear yes, but unfortunately its reverse, this weekend will either make or break us, if we do that stupid going to sleep bullshit again, we can forget about winning the comp, and it'll be out fault entirely. Lets hope they can rise for the occasion.

I wouldn't say we have no chance but they are making it bloody hard.

We have three difficult games against teams which all have something to play for. We will soon see how unimportant the MP is to Robbo.

If we happen to win the MP we are likely to be rewarded with consecutive bruising encounters against a big Souths pack.
