the score was close at fulltime but really we should've scored another 4 tries. the fact that we still won while bombing those tries and throw in the injuries and how we handled them, anything other than a premiership will be extremely disappointing. Even without Pearce and JWH we should steamroll Manly next week. Souffs are gone with an injured Inglis, the comp is ours for the taking.

Yes it is easy to get lost in the scoreline however I believe we were denied a legitimate try on the stroke of half time and Blake "Fergo" Ferguson was unlucky to have the ball knocked out of his hands as he scored. We should have at least been awarded 6 extra points which would fairly represent how well our team played under immense pressure.

I'd say 24-10 would've been a more accurate reflection of the game.

It was ours last season too. I hope the result will be different this time.

Totally agree, Ray. Listened to Bennett and Corey Parker and all I heard were excuses and what ifs....

Truth is we bombed tries, had ref rule forward pass, had 20 looks to find a reason not to award Billy Elliott knock on and overcame 2 serious injuries. Then Robbo stayed we need to move on with a comment like "no one remembers the injuries".

Plain truth Galloping Vermin looked too slow for us and I think they know it

JWH has been the heart and soul of our pack recently.
He provides us with inspiration, guts , determination and a sense of humour.

Can you win a comp without a sense of humour?

Inglis is playing this Thursday night. He's fine. The Souths players always recover very, very quickly.

Inglis is far from fine, he's busted but he'll keep playing because souffs know they are hopeless without him.

Geez it would be a massive effort to beat Manly on Friday, regardless of how they go today.

Our team is far superior to them. I like Hastings. Not many on here have backed him but in the few games he has played in the halves but he seems to have controlled himself well.

Looks a very busy player and has a really good running and passing game. I think he will surprise many.

Lol we said the exact same thing last season and we got ambushed. But we had SBW, SKD,JWH and Pearce in our squad this time last year. I wouldn't write off any team just yet especially Souths. They have only fielded their top squad against the Cows and beat them convincingly so I will be watching them against the Broncos very closely when they run out their full squad. The other team to watch are the Dogs, they are my tip to play us in the GF.

I will give credit to Hastings. He produced last night, he produced in first grade not some pissy U20s and good on him.

I am not scared that Ingli$ is playing or not. I would be worried if he bothered to turn up, but based on this year the odds are he won't
