Good point. It's stuffed both parties. But I disagree that the situation is worse for the club than Farah. The impact on Farah is more of a personal nature which can also impact on his family. If he has kids etc, having to uproot them all when he signed a contract in good faith and agreed to take his money backended for the benefit of the club. The guy deserves to be treated with more respect given his standing at the club and his role in its history. Would we have treated Mini if we treated Mini like that?
Don't get me wrong JT, BAW and BC, I'm no fan of Farah's and I doo see what you are all saying. I just hate the hypocrisy of clubs who whinge about salary caps or players leaving for more money or being poached by other clubs, when they are more than willing to treat a long time servant of their club with such disrespect whenever it suits them.
