  • Hastings hamstring cramps/tightness

Robbo mentioned in his post game press conference that Hastings was pulled due to cramps/tightness in his hamstring, just a precautionary measure.

fingers crossed it not a slight hamstring strain.

I hope so,the kid is playing well.He seems to complement Maloney nicely.Noticed Jake had a real good breather as well.

I don't know if it was Manly playing so piss poor but Jackson looked at ease on the field tonight. He is his father's son.

Very composed and played like 7 season veteran.Hastings has the world at his feet.

Maybe now people will realise that you don't need to be completely dominating the 20s or even playing nsw cup to make the transition to first grade. Hastings and Mitchell both have long first grade careers ahead.

mcilwrick is not at the level of the rest of the team. he needs more game time and experience. we will need him for the finals.

Hopefully next year, Hastings to seven and Pearce at six.

Very composed and confident...not pre programmed and can use variety.

We look better without Pearcey I hate to say.

They both have strengths and weaknesses. Pearce worth an extra 10m when kicking from our own half, Hastings more accurate short kicking game although last night he was a bit off kicking the ball dead a few times.

Assuming we can make it all the way, it will be interesting to see if Robbo prepared to risk Pearce coming back during prelim final or grand final. With JWH out surely we will go with a bigger bench and Maubs as the utility, which means Pearce or Hastings will miss out altogether.

It'll be a terrible shame if both pearcy and SKD are available only to drop Horrie jnr and elliot who have done more than enough to win..Time will tell but a real headache for robbo to change a winning team. THey've both been very impressive and in some cases even better than the incumbents.

It's not a headache at all, Elliott and Hastings are bright young players but that's it at the moment.

SKD Would slot back into the side, his form prior was career best and without our Forward leader, having an extra big body to start our sets would help us coming out of our own end.

Man we ended up scoring off it, but his take of that kickoff that was going out was really amateur IMO. Although TBH... other team members shoulda yelled out 'LEAVE IT!!!!' once they realised he was lining up to take it. Fortunately he didn't knock-on or get bundled into touch.
