I'm watching 7 News and a news story flashed across the bottom of the screen saying "Blake Ferguson may have to miss the Grand Final".

What the **** is this shit? I hope it's related to the birth of his partner's child, in which case Robbo better convince him otherwise.

I had a bloody heart attack when I read that line. It's still palpatating.

I'd say it would be that. Media love running stories like this. They were doing it when JWH was expecting earlier this moth. When, if ever, has it actually happened (touch wood).

Channel 7 is now so far up Murdoch's rectal passage that they can see out his throat when he gasps for breath. I was told in passing that Sydney won against St Kilda but I've watched every game of league that was played so far.

By all reports Blake "Fergo" Ferguson has changed his off field behaviour for good much the same as Jake "The Snake" Friend did and not for a brief period of time as others have so I do not believe he will get in to any trouble. Everybody makes mistakes particularly young people and everybody deserves a chance or two to turn their life around and it is good to see young Ferguson has done this.

I heard this over the weekend.

The baby is due on the 4th.

          Please be early.

          Induction maybe?

Yeh the baby can be inducted on how to be a baby after it is induced into the world. Fergo will be right, lets make the grand final first and not count our chickens before they hatch.

We are favourites to win the comp.
Fergos baby is due on the 4th of October.
The NRL GF is on the 4th of October.
Blake has stated that he isn't missing the birth of his child.
I think the club and Robbo would be concerned.

                Exactly!

Players should be banned form having babies at finals time.

Of course, we have to get to the GF first.

Have we worked out how to beat the Sharks yet?

                  The whole situation is ridiculous.
We spend all this time and effort on the players, and getting the team to the finals/GF...then the players just waltz off to watch their babies born on GF day.
                  There oughta be a law!

Contraception is no mystery these days...players must be made have their babies in the off-season.

This whole situation has turned me right off the finals...along with Moa's stating again on tv after the Manly game that we're not interested in winning the Minor Premiership.
He seems to have gotten the policy from the coach.
Robbo's 'crazy' if he thinks this attitude is a good idea for the Club to be stating in public.

I don't see the issue, the GF if we make it is in sydney, if his partner is in sydney and it does come GF day, what are the chances it will happen between the two hours of game time? Bub come before GF, have a drink, jump in the cab, and take the field.

This is just a beat up to show how far he has come in the last year.

                      Totally massive...Murphy's law.
The baby will be born 25 minutes into the GF.

Someone had better start devising a plan...now.

Shut down all mobile towers in the CBD, and the internet. we have intelligent fans (unlike Souffs), surely there are hackers amongst us.

Perhaps we can set up a labour ward at ANZ and even utilise the big screen.

Fergo could broker a deal with KFC.

We win, all goes well with the birth of Fergos baby and then back to the club to celebrate.

w ith St Vincents and Prince of Wales hospitals just 2 minutes away, there should be no problem whatsoever. Hopefully we make the GF, and I guarantee Fergo will be there playing, and scoring at leasr one try and celebrating the birth and victory at the same time.
