I'm not expecting miracles. But it's good he's getting a game under his belt before the finals.

SKD makes our team a lot stronger, particularly our right edge defence - excellent news!

            Big call.

If they rest him and win then he will only get one game in a month leading in to a GF qualifier.

Trent said they were considering resting players this week, but confirmed that it won't be happening.

Is it odd that he doesn't appear to be in the final Captain's Run photos or are they trying to hide something?

Gibson was a great man, but he was not as plain-speaking and direct as Robbo.

I am reminded of an interview with Gibson back in 1974. He was asked: "What is your biggest disappointment as a coach?"

                          He replied: "Russell Fairfax's moustache."

I get a Goodes feeling about it.

There will be a lot less vermin around this year.... hopefully. I think they can feel that the NRL isn't going to be gift wrapping them a premiership again this year . Might be the sharks on their list in 2015.Then david smith and the refs can sleep like a baby during the offseason.

Sure, but they'll see this game as an opportunity to become battled hardened before the 2016 Charity Shield.
