Mate, that's the best defence anyone could come up with. Many are saying that Jimmy's wasn't a trip because his leg is lifted a little to high ...it's no higher than that pic of Reynolds. If that's a grade one, surely Jimmy's has got to be the same !

Exactly. In fact, Maloney's was more just flinging the leg out accidentally whereas the one from Reynolds was done deliberately to try and stop a try
