That was a hell of a shot by Evans too. Pretty sure it caused the opposition player to bleed from the ear.

I think Evans is left with 95 carry overs. If he so much as sneezes he is gone.

Great news all round. However, that's the 2nd time in a couple of weeks Napa has been unfairly placed on report. Good to see the MRC has cleared him on both occasions, but it's been bloody annoying.

I thought the conspiracy was that everyone is against us from ch 9 match scheduling, to the match review board.

Must be coming in the next few weeks.

Ray Warren went off about how all five should be charged.

happy to be wrong about Moa, seriously though its pretty weak that Evans/Burgess got charged.

There's an argument that Maloney should fight his charge. Fights and loses, he still gets to play with 75 carry over points; accepts early plea gets 56 points; fights and wins has a clean slate for the finals.

Relevant questions: are there offences that are less than 44 points? (If there aren't, then he loses nothing by fighting - unless he subsequently is found guilty of an offence carrying 125 -143 points where we still have two games to play.)
Is it better to put it all behind him and get on with the week? (Maybe.)
Can he get off? (Not sure of the criterion for tripping, but surely it has to be a real attempt using significant force - Jimmy's leg was brushed aside like an old cobweb.)

Evans threw the ball at Carter whilst he was being treated for injury by their trainer (a cut to the head). That's why they have charged him for throwing the ball.

Was thinking the same. Except I can't see any way he can win.

Maybe Because he's short or literally below the radar he never seems to be a target for the refs

Twitter world is currently running hot about the injustice of the judiciary
