Could it be Myles' off-field performances that are pushing him out rather than on field?

If he is a cancer then I dont mind seeing him leave, just as I didn't mind if Carney got sacked.

However, going by his on field peformances, he has always justified his paycheck.

I thought Myles was poor in his first 2 seasons and really fired up last year but struggled after origin with injury.. I can accept him being moved on as we paid massive overs but he should not be the first out the door.. That should be Anasta with Mini close behind, then daylight then retards like Graham, Watts and then more daylight followed by the likes of Myles. However Myles going would be even more acceptable if the money was used wisely to buy a good front rower, workaholic backrower or a fullback.
        ...

I vote No.1 Melon to 69 Myles to keep him at our beloved club !

Pressure is on you Nate Myles...accept or be a Tittan.

Nate Myles has been fantasic for the Chooks. Anthony Minichello has been fantsic for the chooks, Adrian Morley was fantasic for the chooks. Brad Fittler was fantasic for the chooks. Craig Fitzgibbons was fantasic for the chooks. Luke Ricketson was fantasic for the chooks, Kevin Hasings was fantasic for the chooks, Arthur Beetson was fantastic for the chooks, Mark Harriss was fantasic for the chooks(etc).........BUT unfortunately players age or they just move on. REAL ROOSTER supporters stay loyal to their team hand and stay with the team through the good and the bad. That what made 2002 such a great year.
HARDEN UP SO CALLED ROOSTERS SUPPORTERS WHO CAN'T HANDLE THE TOUGH TIMES....STAY LOYAL

It took 3 pages, but here he is. Teh supporter I spoke of earlier. The type of guy who is happy to support the team and the club, no matter how ridiculous the club's retention policies are and how damaging those who make them are to our results and ultimately to the club they stand to serve.

You dont get it do you mate? Why do you think weve only won 1 GF in 30 years? Because we dont plan, we react. We make stupid decisions and hope. This isnt how you win premierships. Ive stood by and watched this for 40 years. When I say no more, it actually means something.

But you keep walking out of the SFS after another heavy loss proudly waving your Easts flag.

If youre happy with a lifetime of mediocrity, be my guest. But I aint dancing to that piper's tune.

I am, we were terrible all the way through my youth when i went to Moore Park and empty stadiums and then we were awesome and failed to convert for ten years and then we had a flame of hope last year and now we are awful again.

mostly we have been awful but I have never questioned my loyalty or passion

                wins, losses, Politis, whatever

Well I don't love the game as much as I love The Roosters

and I could pretend not to care or to follow someone else or not be interested but I would be bullshi tting myself

                      And thats fine too.

I guess Im sick of other people bullshitting me. put it this way, next time the marketing dick of the month calls me to renew my sponsorship, I know exactly the message he should pass on the Nick.

You see, they care. About your dollars. Not about your love of the Roosters.

You'll be back Melon. You survived Finch and Mason and 2009.

Lucky Nate Myles. Off to greener pastures at Newcastle. Will pick up the same coin. Play under a winning coach, and have a red hot crack as a GF winner.

This will really be the player that got away. What a joke.

Myles would probably fit in at Newcastle. For more reasons than we know.

Thats all well and good, Ive been trowelling these forums for a long time and whilst your passion and love for the club is undoubted, sometimes you come across as a half glass empty person.
