The lightness and low workrate of the back row concern me a great deal especially in light of the sharks back row and their two workhorse props. We've got backrowers playing as props, a backrower as a winger and subsequently halves that will have no room.

Therefore, my score prediction is as follows ...
Easts 12 (Anasta to miss all three sideline conversions)
sharks 20 (all three tries converted plus a penalty from in front)

Fark why would you put a centre on the wing?

We did that with SKD and almost screwed up his career

SKD unlike Linnet has size and can break tackles with ease thus making him more suitable to centre. Linnett i see as a guy with speed and potentially a great finisher on the wing

Bollox you don't need to be SKD size to be a great centre. Linnett has shown in his career in 1st grade,NSW Cup and U20's that he is a strike centre.

Myles plays like a champ at second row yet we continually put him in the front row.

Hmm I'm torn on Linnett. He looked awesome in the Storm game and on that run vs Eels but since then my only memories are of him tumbling straight into the opposition doing nothing every hit up. I agree that he should be in the first grade side all year though and should improve.

He is young and needs to be given a go. None of our outside backs have fired and we need TC to fire for backline to ignite.

We already have, his name is BJ Leilua.

That team will get absolutely toweled up by the Sharkies forwards.

Carnage will make zero difference, he was fully fit for both matches and we got stomped.

Fingers crossed but it just doesn't feel right.

Carney killed it for us vs Tigers (our last win) and for whatever reason wasn't fit to play vs Warriors and he hasn't played since.

Agreed BJ shouldn't be on the wing

imho I'd have him coming of the bench as an impact player in the forwards

@Geohood: I meant last year when we lost twice to the Sharkies!

lol what? I havent watched his games for nsw cup and u20s... but i'll give u 24 hours to find 3 separate occasions where he has demonstrated he is a strike centre or try scoring freak ala SKD..

I'm not saying he shouldn't be there, but i don't think he's shown anything to suggest he'll make a potent centre in the future.. i like his chances on the wing

Our props and lock play a very similar style. Myles rarely leaves the middle third of the field when playing at lock. He'll play pretty much the same game from prop, just be expected to take more hit-ups.
