  • Dolphins weekly rant.....again

Well, well, well wasnt that just pathetic. Another pea hearted display by a bunch of overpaid no hopers ( a few exclusions). Now where do I start....

Why are we the only team in the NRL with no centres. And dont say injury because even our original centres were backrowers. faaaarrrrrkkkk.

Again if Tansey is a better fullback than Perrett then I am an astronaut. Tansey should be in the 17, probably on the bench. Pez is our best back by far and we stick him on the wing.

Fark me Freddy whose idea was it to play SKD in the centres. the guy is a good winger but as a centre he is useless.

On Freddy my view on him as a coach is waining by the day. We look completely clueless and our defensive structure is the worst I have seen which is surprising considering we had the best defense under Stuart.

Its time for a major cleanout. Rather than just keep ranting thought I would take a look at our current 17 and make an opinion and also whether we should keep them or not..

    1. tansey - has potential but is not the best fullback in the club. Pez and Mini offer much more flair and I must say I was impressed with Towers in the U20's
    2. Perrett - mate he is the only backline player firing. Must play fullback or centre IMO. Definately keep
    3. Sa - its either the forwards or bench for him - keep (just)
    4. Jones - Cant see the hype at all. fark off
    5. SKD - good winger but not a centre - keep
    6. Braith - We will not win a comp with him at 6. He is the "Finch of 5/8th's" - lock or fark off
    7. Jnr - tries hard and would play better in a decent team - keep
    13. Fitzy - Id keep him as long as we have a better pack around him. Great defensive player and every team needs one. Just stay out of the backline
    12. Mason - Just fark off please you lazy money grabbing turd!
    11. Soli - he's goooonnnne
    10. FPN - close to best player all year with Pez. Showing great promise - definately keep
    9. Friend - Ok but Id love to grab a decent 9. Shame we didnt get Issac. Bench at best
    8. Myles - See FPN - I feel sorry for him. Definately keep

    14. Lopini - had one great year now farked. see ya
    15. O'Meley - wont watse my time typing - fark off
    18. Waqa - will reserve judgement as has only played a couple of games - keep
    17. Koupafarkwhatshisname - fair dinkum the bloke who signed him should be shot. Useless. Bye bye

Out of players not playing tonite the only ones Id keep would be Mini, Maubs and Shack.

So 2009 looks like to me.

    1. Mini
    2.
    3. Perrett
    4.
    5. SKD

Put Maubs at 4, Jaubs on the bench, Myles at 8 and we will be close to set. Ahern a possible replacement for Cherro if things do not work out.

we need a better dummy half..... some one that is actually quick, and actually scoots out of dummy half like Luke, Ennis or Farah. Brown, friend n JAubs in paticular havent been doing this at all.. we need to look elsewhere. this is why teams are carving us up down the middle of the ruck

The Roosters had one, his name was Heath L'Estrange.
Not considered good enough was Heath.

The Roosters had another, his name was Ian Henderson.
                    Also considered not good enough.

The Storm had one, his name is James Aubusson.
Oh, the Roosters have him but he is coached to play crap and just tackle.

I think everyone is extremely hard on kouperitsits. Everyone is already so keen to get rid of him but he's young and inexperienced....is it just because he's another bulldog everyone is already talking of dropping him...i think thats unfair

If there is a cleanout,do it all the way,why keep Mino,he's gone!
Have yourselves on,keep players for emotive reasons(coach included)..we become just another limp dick side(as we are).
Mason,Omeley and that other flop that the dogs palmed off, good bloody grief!!!

Mate that is the most ignorant thing to say. We might want to start over but we still want to show good faith to our players or else no one will ever sign with us. What kind of club would we be if we just took people in, and kicked them out after one shocking season. A lot of these players we want to keep for 'emotive reasons' have had success in the past, like anasta, lopini, minichello, even mason, all of them are extremely useful when put in the right position. When they are playing behind a strong forward pack or playing for a team with a threatening back line then they all play better.

YES we need to get rid of/get new centres, a better hooker, a more attacking back 3...but i dont think that means we have to start again. Give mini the rest of the season to play, if he goes through it without another serious injury give him another year. I think we need to give players like sa, anasta, mason, kouperitsits another chance behind a better pack. An with the loss of quite a few older players we should see a revamped pack soon.
