  • how well we deal with the Bulldogs niggling tactics will probably decide our fate

on a player for player basis we are a better team than the Bulldogs, the two wins against them this season is proof of that.

you can bet Dessie will have the Dogs at their grubby best tomorrow night trying to put us off our game, we simply can't fall into their trap and get involved in the niggle, as we have learnt against teams like the Sharks/Storm when things get grubby we tend to lose focus and give away stupid penalties.

if we can keep our composure we will win.

I recall that even against the Dogs last time we were flying until all that crap started. You can bet they will be doing it all game and the refs will not do a thing about it.

Surely Robbo has focused on this, especially with Dylan and Kane.

greenberg vs politis hence why we have cummings. they had a big tiff at the anzac day clash when the game was halted. neither i suspect are on each others christmas card list.

We have the edge over the dogs in the forwards. Not in size but in mobility as the big dogs tire watch cords, aiden and sui start to make meters on the edges with quick plays , that's when the roosters back line will put them away.We just have to stay with them and then let that wonderful back-line do the rest.

We got out to a big lead last time until they got six straight penalties.

Watch Huey Dewey and Louie (graham, tolman and reynolds) crowd the refs like there's no tomorrow. Another gobby captain to deal with. Tolman's wrestling better get pulled up by the refs again, like last week, too.

Good article from Webster in the SMH about the grubby dirty dogs wrestling tactics in particular that filthy grub Eastwood. He makes the good point that Burgess copped two weeks for throwing a half empty bottle yet Eastwood gets a caution for nearly breaking Benji's leg. He only managed to severely sprain his ankle instead! Mbye apparently used the same leg lock technique on George Rose as well. Those two clown refs better be onto this crap right from the start.

Funnily enough Dave Smith and Uncle Nick hugged a few weeks back after the Souffs game when they greeted each other.
