  • LeDylan Napa and LeKane Evans

    Fast becoming my favourite Roosters.

At 22 and 23 respectively can cornerstone our pack for years to come.

I love their aggression. Both made Klemmer look average.

    Go Easts.

    Chook.

How quickly has Kane come along this year?

He's been immense and provides the x-factor off the bench. The offload to RTS was a thing of beauty. And his run against the Eels a few weeks back was immense.

So with his offloads and his speed and footwork he can totally open a game up in ways that few props in the NRL can.

As for Dylan, what a weapon. I loved his confrontation with Graham. Daring him to "run at me"

    Loved it!

Graham was sidestepping Napa all night after that. He ran scared.

      Chook.

Looking 'forward' (pardon the pun) to us steamrolling the shetlands next week.

It will be something to behold both of these players are going against each other in state of origin football

Napa, who was already performing has gone up another gear since JWH was sidelined.

The added responsibility has been nothing but a positive.

I think Kano is my favourite player atm but i'm not 100% sure.

That offload was just like SBW at his peak.. Great stuff, I hope he's a Rooster for life.

Had a bit of that 2013 grand final try feel about it.

                When SBW offloaded to Maloney.

Interesting stat, despite only averaging 27 mins a game this season Evans ranks 16th in the NRL for offloads. Impressive.

A "run at me" banner could be a nice little off-season project.

Perhaps with the added bit from Old Man Moz after Freddy's hit in 2002.

I heard him shouting 'run at me you coves' at the Warrior pack.

There has been a lot of criticism that Dylan Napa does not make as many yards as other forwards in the team but I thought that he lead from the front very well when we were under pressure. He may not have made a lot of yards initially but he took a fired up forward pack head on and also backed it up in the defence which I believe is his biggest asset. I would hope that both Dylan Napa and Kane Evans are seen as the high priority future players by the club and will be locked up in to long term deals.

A few here early this season claimed our bench would deliver us the Premiership

well half the bench (Napa / Hastings) has since become the run on following injuries

'Napalm' in tandem with 'the Undertaker' are now the undisputed young tyro props of the competition

A young Beetson with a young JWH is how I see them.

Both these boys are going great guns, full of confidence and backing it up with good football.
Evans is actually quite articulate and a good speaker. I think they both have a great and long future
