You have a dissagreement with one of a select few of members and you get banned.

Is it me or have the bannings become a lot more frequent recently?

I used to enjoy reading comments from posters like backwards, Chook, Madrooster, Chook 56 and a few others but they all seem to have vanished, what's happened to this place?

I believe the mods should have a sticky with people who have been banned/suspended and their reason why.

I also believe in free speech and also desire that mostly we check our posts before posting (match day posts excluded...lol)

There's no problem with a rational debate when people don't hold the same view. It's enjoyable.

I have no problem with people who can't resist going on personal attacks getting banned. It's anti-social behaviour that is unacceptable. It does nothing to increase the enjoyment of others on here.

I didn't realise people had been banned. I thought they left of their own free will. Having said that, I wouldn't know. I have blocked most of those clowns anyway.

This is a good topic and one well worth discussing. However, we will more than likely be banned if we do thus reducing the number of active forum users even further.

Is the concept of an internet forum completely outdated these days? There seems to be minimal interest. I don't look at other team's forums so I have no idea if they are more active than ours.

I suggest that this forum is useless in its current state.

I have Checked out the kennel before, and there is constant activity, parra on league unlimited is pretty constant too. Larger supporter bases equal more activity.

In response, FYI none of the above members have been banned. For whatever reason they don't seem to post as frequently.

What craps me off is you can have 2 pages within a thread where the same 2 or 3 are just slanging off at each other with drivel. I really do think that some on here just wait for someone they don't like to post something. Then of course they wanna start something and in no time the thread has gone to crap. It's like 2 kids in a school yard.

Personally I would like to see a forum that encourages personal attacks, foul language and bullying. Isn't that half the fun of internet forums?
