All he does is compare Pearce to the latest flavour of the month and says how he'd take Hunt over Pearce and before that it was Reynolds and before that is the other Reynolds and before that is was some other pan flash. He keeps claiming to still be unconvinced about Pearce, well the kid has been playing 8 seasons now so either Ray has an agenda or he's completely clueless?

When it comes to Pearce then every thread has been similar for 8 years, he's been pretty ordinary for most of that time. Maloney and Carney showed what an average player Pearce is and next year Hasting's will do the same.

I don't care if he doesn't live up to the ridiculous hype he had around him as a teenager, he's been a great servant of our club for a long time now & we missed him this year.

Fun fact, Pearce's 20th try assist this season means he's the only halfback in the comp who's come up with 20 try assists or more in the last 6 consecutive seasons. Some on here would have you believe he's a reserve grader who couldn't set up a try to save his life.

Although it's hilarious listening to all those who said how much better we'd be off with Pearce now starting to grovel, trying to put blame at the feet of player who played 40 minutes in our finals campaign.

As if the humble pie of 2013/2014 wasn't good enough, the egg left on some faces has been the cherry on top.

At least you're good for entertainment Coggy, I just wish you weren't still running the same routine as you were 5 years ago.
