  • What did Robbo mean?

In the Press Conference, he said that the club and him have different views on what should have happened over the last 3 years. What does he mean by that?

He also said something at the end about RTS's body for the Hunt try in the first half I think but I don't know what he meant by that either.

I have no idea about the 1st nd without hearing it Im guessing that he may be alluding to RTS not putting his body on line when grubbers are put in

He was saying something about having his own opinion no what Kahu did or something like that.

Both things he said were quite strange.

I think he was talking about the club seeing the last 3 years as a success, but he saw disappointment in there as well.

I doubt Robbo will rest on laurels, he'll learn from this and move on.

        Chook.

I think he was referring to the no try decision for the SKD try. Saying Reed was over the top of him and ripping for the ball. Considering that went up as a try I don't understand how they reserved that decision. I just hope there wasn't the idea in the video box that we got a good call last week so a square up wouldn't hurt. The bullshit milked penalty against Guerra and that no try decision were massive in the context of the game. No penalty and we go in at halftime 16-12 down, try decision and we're likely up 18-16 and with all the momentum. May have been a very different half. But the way we played after that was very disappointing to watch. We were physically ready so not resting players made no difference but we were mentally weak and played frantic without our halfback as did Brisbane without Hunt in the last regular round against the storm at home.

I'm more pissed that I don't get to watch the Chookies run round for another 5 months. Shit go!

They had one minute to defend that try, and they should of just layed on them to slow it down as much as possible, if penalty is blown, you go in 18-12 down, and without the disappointment of letting in a try when having worked so hard to fight back from 16-0.

The question was "Jack Reid's nose probably cost you a try" referring the to SKD no try. Robbo thought the ball was already travelling backwards as it came into contact with Reid.

I can never hear what the questions are in these pressers.
Makes it difficult to understand the response sometimes.
The different view comment is perplexing.

Just Robbo being a tough marker, some at the club obviously see the last 3 years as a huge success (which I think it has been) but he obviously thinks they've failed in not achieving more within those 3 years.

                    That's cool.
One of the things I like about Robbo.

If Robbo feels we've underachieved then he's 100% correct.

Under achieve is one thing to contemplate, but Top Four is not without merit .

Beyond that is a lottery as can be seen by the conjecture.

Big stat for my money that points to tactical error is the number of tackles Hodgo and their halves were made to make.

Reid made as many as them put together and that is where we were scoring - old adage wear them out with defence, attack suffers and results come. Take time and Space from play makers equals less calculated decisions and more errors - lesson learnt.

We will see in 2016, for those losing faith in this team stay true time will tell.
