Incorrect. With this new system the top 2 finishing teams are guaranteed 2 home finals, win or lose.
1st qtr final @ Allianz we lost to the UFC Storm, the following week we put the Dogs out.
Seems a fair incentive to me. What needs reviewing is the $$$ reward for finishing minor premiers. The $100K hasn't change for ions and should be significantly more.

no point letting any of those 3 go now the horse has already bolted in terms of recruitment for 2016.

The problem with the top 8 is its a top 8, with the amount of teams in the comp it should be a top 6, with all semis after week 1 played on neutral grounds.

I prefer the old top 5 but those days are long gone and nine/foxtel want as many games as possible.

How bad would it be to follow the Knights, Tigers or Eels thinking what a top year, we almost made the 8 again.
