Every team should play each other twice in the season. The Minor premiership should be a major celebration. The Grand final should be a knock out played by the top 4 teams from the premiership season. The current format doesn't reward the best team then best coach in that order.

The NRL ditched the McIntyre system in 2012. I hated it. Now I wish we still had it. Can u imagine playing a busted Broncos last year and the dragons this year ?

Same as playing the loyalty card last year with Mini. He sticks RTS at fullback in 2014 and watch him carve up running off SBWs offloads

This team had the chance to go down in history, they blew their chance
Last I knew Robbo was a footy coach....not a doctor or physio. His medical team would have advised Robbo that Pearce was fit to play. Blaming the coach is ridiculous.

The fact that Robbo has publically stated that they would have played Pearce the week before had it been a GF means it is highly debatable to the point of very unlikely that the medical staff have advised Pearce was fit to play. There is always the possibility that the medical team did not have a clue ( you just never really know with hammys )and all and sundry were just hoping Pearce was fit to play and would pull through the game on Friday night

IMHO the club gambled on Peraces fitness and lost as he didnt see the game out Mind you he was our best out there when he was on the field So in some ways you can almost understand the gamble My wiorry now is this will niggle Pearce throughout his career (aka Laurie Daley ) as he now has a weakness in that area

For an injury like a hamstring the player is the one who makes the call. Especially a representative like Pearce. If Pearce says he's sweet to go and the medical staff are sceptical it would then go to Robbo. And you would expect Robbo to take the word of the player as that's the basis of trust between the players and the coach. Pearce obviously thought he was right but wasn't. It didn't cost us. We had planned for it. 4 forwards on the bench and Hastings out would be a different story but there was no harm done to the side so I don't understand all the conjecture.

I disagree I think there was plenty of harm done Friend was forced to play 80 minutes making over 60 tackles We were down to a 3 man interchange bench after having to spend plenty energy to just get ourselves back in the game The energy we used up was noticable in the back end of the 1st half we looked very tired that last 5 minutes We then started the 2nd half with one less interchange to make Im not blaming Robbo Im just stating some facts and things I thought I saw during the game
