what about when hodges was injured and Warren said "he hope he is ok"..

Hodges will be charged with a grade 1, take an early plea and play in the GF. It will be managed that way

Ray Warren probably doesn't even know what he's saying half the time. Gus is a bitter old lady, King of predicting the opposite. You only have to look at his twitter to see he's not all there either. Says goodnight and doesn't log off. Sterlo was probably the most painful, his sheer smugness. The big clue in their bias and hypocrisy will be the lack of discussion (and outrage) on Video Ref overturning SKD try, when very much unlike the Dogs saga, the Roosters looked to be getting on top. Telling.

No he cant he has carry over points -Hodges must be gone but what we have seen lately happen with the blind judiciary he may get off.

my fav part was when gus waited for the broncos to get out to a 14 point lead in the second half before starting to talk as if he knew all along and started sprouting out these over complicated analysis's about why the broncos will go on to win...what a guru he is.

Gus was urging the MRC to take the week off.

“I’m not worried,” Hodges told Channel Nine. “I said to the ref, he sort of jumped and won the penalty.". Lying grub bent down to hoist Guerra's knees up, lift, and spear with his shoulder. Get rid of him.

Yep not gonna get salty about those calls or say we woulda won if they went our way, but it's interesting that they tried to pull down our victory last week by saying Evans didn't score. IMO...
                - First try, there was called a try so it was pretty harsh overturning it.
                - Second one Hodges clearly touched it.

Were they tries? They were 50:50's at worst and it was frustrating hearing the commentators say there's no chance they were tries. For Brisbane...
                - That #6 to #7 try... not saying the pass went forward for sure but they blew the whistle without even checking and there was no question of it.

End of the day we lost on our own merits and didn't deserve to win. Also, commentators don't have any impact on who wins. But... a bit more balance woulda made watching it a little more enjoyable for me.

Second half I was getting too worked up so literally muted the game and started reading stories to my son in order to calm down. I knew we were gone based on how we were playing (didn't deserve to win) but watched it out to respect Maloney and RTS on their last game.

Like how the ref said 'it was unfortunate' when Friend got penalised for (Thaiday?) picking him up and throwing him over his shoulder when he was the marker. Brisbane were weird with that... they kept wrapping up markers with their legs and trying to claim it was a penalty. Why wasn't Thaiday penalised for intentionally preventing the marker from squaring up?

IMO for 2016 the refs need to review the rules a little. I'd like to see a review of:
                  - When you can offload. I feel there's too many 50:50's where if a tackler holds on he gets penalised, but if he lets go, he's allowing an offload.
                  - Penalty milking... ban the 'cooper cronk' intentional pass to the guy who is running back. If it's an obstruction then fine, but the ball is intentionally thrown at you then IMO it's not an obstruction.
                  - Similarly... wrapping up the marker with your legs. IMO you've gotta give them an opportunity to square up. If you intentionally throw them over your shoulder or wrap them up with your legs then you're interfering with the marker IMO and should be penalised.

they do have an impact on my blood pressure, even during Away wins.
The trap many fall into in media punditry is thinking that you're the star, and Channel 9 is absolutely rammed with them.

If you can't see compelling reason to overturn an awarded try, say after 5 damn replays, what keeps you going back for more? They are looking for reason not to give it. Just like Elliott /Ferguson in the Roosters Broncos Round 24, Patten again. They have too much power, we all know that, no other sport in the world is there such a lucky dip with decision makers. Or look no further than Fifita's try in Canberra. How many times were they trying to find any reason not to give it. It's obvious when they can't accept it.

The penalty milkmen and blockers always prevail.

It will take a lump like Eastwood snapping someone's leg, which he's pretty much half done already, for the NRL to do anything. Meanwhile, Sterlo will keep telling us "that's not illegal, Ray".

I was really hoping for a Storm square up, without Cummins allowing an unlimited time in tackles. I would guess Sutton and Badger are the GF refs, curiously in charge of Brisbane throughout. But at the end of the day as annoying as the refs and useless linesmen are, we beat ourselves, and all is well again at NRL HQ this morning, business as usual.

                            .
Like how somebody decided that Radradra had to break the Parra try scoring record.
Can't let a dropped ball or two get in the way of history.

Remember when Inglis got put in a dangerous position and the Bulldogs claimed he dived to the ground? Everybody came out saying what a ridiculous thing to claim and now we have Johns sprouting the same rubbish
