Never heard what you think the immediate answer to that would be, and was genuinely interested.
This is the kind of footy talk you want to promote on the website.
    What do you reckon????

    I agree it's a major concern.

I know that losing Roger was a once-in-a-generation stuff up that will leave a massive hole.

I think Fergo will be given the number one and he may surprise everyone. Though he is on a hiding to nothing. He will be compared to Roger and Roger is out of this world.

    PS. Nice red bars.

To add my 2c to the fullback debate, I would like to see us give Mitchell first crack at fullback. Honestly next year is just a rebuilding season anyway with 2 spine positions to be filled, so personally I think we'd be better off giving this kid a shot instead of rejigging the entire backline. If he stinks it up then so be it.

Problem is I think the Robbo and the club are intent on trying Ferguson at fullback given our purchase of Burgess, with the pommy slotting onto the wing and SKD moving back into the centres.

Given Ferguson has literally not caught a single bomb all year I'd say we will be reshuffling things again by round 6 (Thats not a slight on Ferguson btw. Its just that the bloke is built for the centres and his best attributes all lead to that position. He should be left there to flourish).

I hope we don't fall into the trap of comparing our next number 1 with RTS, or Mini in his pomp, or even Phillips for that matter.
I guess it is looking like Fergo by default.
But even if he does surprise us, do you think that weakens the 3/4 line?

(PS. I missed the original tango that led to the red bar joke, but I do get humour out of it.Nothing personal.)

And how about a hypothetical scene to add to the mix?
"RTS decides at some point during his Warriors contract that he made a mistake, and fancies a move back across the ditch.
Sydney clubs would be falling over themselves to accomodate him. He'd be a big chunk of salary cap. What would we do?"

I was told by a player that they would have paid the $800k to Roger, but unfortunately he signed before they had a chance to match it. The club could have steered him to third party companies not aligned to the rooster to keep him happy.

I wouldnt be moving Fergo for two years we were stronger on our left now this year with him its both sides .Even make The mentalist look good on the wing.
Someone questioned the Poms signing .He is good and young and will get better its just a matter of how long he settles into the Sydney climate of football.

              Hey mate,

I don't think next season is about rebuilding but more so re-adjusting.

Pearce/ Hastings combo can potentially be as effective. The big issue is FB however you don't need the worlds best 1 to win a comp.

We are still strong across the park. Our pack is one of, if not the best and still developing.

Top 4 is achievable after 26 rounds.

I'd swap Mayfair, Park Lane and throw in Guerra for a Munster

Where's that "confess all" that you promised?

Do we have to wait for the official book launch or somefing?
