Why would the club put burgess at fullback? it may work but he has never played there .SO i cant see that happening you might as well just playLatrell and put up with the errors until he develops.He will be caught out a few times but at least attack wise he has instinct and positional play.

I didn't say that Burgess would be fullback. If Slaimankhel plays fullback then SKD will stay on the Wing with Toops, whilst Jennings and Fergo will be the centres. That means Burgess would be at Wyong.

Manu is closer to first grade than Mitchell... I can't see Manu playing the whole season but he might get a few games. Elliot has some ability but needs to spend the summer in a gym.

That's a good question.He'd come cheap.
His current club is trying to get out of his contact, rumours say he was offered to Melbourne of all clubs.
He wants back in the NRL.
I dunno.

I wouldn't be surprised if SKD were to be trialed at fullback. Rocks and diamonds aside, I think Robbo is a big fan of how he returns the balls, his ability to break tackles and his ruck speed. I also think he'd be a better communicator than Fergo and Tupou. Latrell will still be eligible for the under 20's next year and will probably play for Wyong too; I can't see him being thrown in the deep end (at FB) from the get go. But who knows, Robbo probably already has a solid idea of what he'll do and with whom.

I also wouldn't be surprised if between now and, say, mid February - Robbo and POS keep an eye on the fullback market to see if any opportunistic signings come up. If memory serves me correctly we signed Jennings in mid January, 2013. I'm not saying it will be a fullback of Jennings' playing calibre but someone worth signing (and potentially letting go of someone else). Makes for an interesting off season of sorts.

On a different front, I hope Robbo really works Abraham Papalli hard over the off-season; he's the only player in the Roos team from the other day that showed some promise for mine. Might be worth a bench spot in some guys next year if he goes well in the off season.

I think the centre's name was Smith. He played alright in a losing team. In my view though he won't be troubling any of our current centres or even the kids in the under 20's.
Papalli is a forward, there's no way he's a winger - at least not at NRL level. Not sure why he is being played on the wing for Wyong(?). I mentioned him not because he's a reserve candidate for an NRL back line spot, but rather a bench forward spot if our current players are unavailable etc. Then again, I don't even know if Papalli is signed for next year. And, he'll have some more competition next year in the form of that Frei fellow we've signed.

We must remember that RTS wasn't perfect at all times either. He has been known to drop balls and knock-on 10m out from the try line.

Arguably had RTS been in the right place, He woulda caught the ball instead of Darius Boyd.
