I know the Dally M awards are a load of crap, but I was led to believe that SST was in line for the rookie award.
He wasn't even nominated.
Surely the (one?) game he played for the fullback-thieves wouldn't count.?
Didn't get nominated for lock either.

He gets my award as surprise of the year.
I hope the old second season blues don't get him.Teams will be more aware of how hard he is to tackle, but stopping him is different.Reduced inter-change will only help his cause I reckon.

Parker should have been lock of the year but SST was better then Taumalolo.

They are quite generous in giving the main award to ARL aligned players since the NRL started in 98, half the Winners have been from ARL aligned clubs.

Taukeiaho wasn't eligible because he played a game back in 2013.

The rule where if you have played 3 games or less you can still qualify only counts for the past season, in this case 2014.
