Who cares? We're not in it.

Say what you want about Hodges, but its a tough call to lose out on your last game when it's a GF.

Yep I agree. It would have been an injustice to have deprived any player a GF game after that clumsy challenge that if as Guerra said was made worse by him. Guerra may have not had the best year but he has the potential to bounce back.

          True that.
I assume he was lying (didn't look like he was acting at the time) but his motive for doing so could be considered noble, depending on your point of view.
Trouble is he's making a joke of our team philosophy.
Not playing for penalties is a noble stance as well, and our coach has made an issue of it .
Now people are calling us hypocrites.

Doesn't surprise me that Canavan sanctioned his attending the judiciary , but I would have liked to be a fly on the wall when he told Robbo.
Assuming he knew what Guerra was gonna say.

He did jump on the leg.

No doubt he was trying to milk the penalty.

I can handle all that. All teams do it and I would be disappointed if we also didn't "play for penalties" (Robbo was really talking about laying down).

But to publicly embarrass us like he did was unforgivable for mine.

I don't think he was trying to milk a penalty,JT

It was more a reaction to the upward lifting motion by Hodges imo. This to ensure that he didn't land on his head.

Do you think that Alex Mckinnon would feel disappointed?

Should players that admit to milking a penalty be suspended?

If you watch he actually jumps of the leg still on the ground. Like Inglis always does.

They both end up on their head risking serious injury just to get a penalty.

They should be suspended for abject stupidity.

(PS. I don't think Alex McKinnon would care. After all, he is pals with Cam Smith now.)

If Guerra lands the wrong way, he's breathing through a tube and pissing into a bag so Guerra was a moron for going to the judiciary to back up Hodges. I suspect that had everything to do with Queensland connections. maybe the cadaverous one got in Guerra's ear.

Either way it's a bad look, for Guerra, for the club and for league in general.

Do you reckon there'll be consequences, Johnny?

I reckon Guerra wins the 'most disappointing award' this year.
He set a high standard in previous years but this year he was not much better than useless.

There should be. They banned the shoulder charge because a weekend park footballer had a stroke so why shouldn't someone who contravenes the policy of a club be sanctioned. I've always suspected that in a group of low IQ footballers that Guerra was in the lowest percentile. He was giggling like a subnormal idiot on his Footy show appearance and always looks like he just woke up.

We've just become the laughing stock of the NRL.

                            Who cares.
My issue with Guerra is why he is such a ball hog. He flat out refuses to pass before the line. Twice against the Broncos he had his left winger free outside him. He was free because of the good work of Mitch Aubusson on the inside. Got outside his man, quick hands to Guerra, then Guerra should have passed immediately.
Both times Guerra did what he always does. Ignored the overlap, and chose to try to break the tackle and then pass if free. Both times he was shut down by the cover.
He has done this all year. A guy on Origin money.

If u r gonna have him playing that wide, then he needs to be able to pass the &%$#@ ball.

Ohh I dunno, just remember our coach stating a few times after games we don't dive or milk penalties. This assclown has made Robbo and the Roosters look like complete hypocrites.
Just wait for the media to play this one against us next year.
