I reckon our best match of the season was when we played against the warriors in auckland and won with an origin affected squad. In that match I remember Robbo shifted SST to that right edge(same position guerra occupied against the broncos) and a combination of his footwork, speed and offloading tore them to shreds.

He hasn't played there since from memory. That is his position. He is wasted as a 3rd prop.
Maybe he floated, but I was at the game and every time u saw Guerra hog the ball he was playing left edge, one in from the winger. Especially 20-30 metres out from the Broncs line.

I have tried to erase the memory of last weeks game from my mind but I keep getting nightmares of Guerra killing our left edge in attack. I was sure Guerra played mainly on the left but could have floated to the middle at times.

Jennings has been under utilised too many games this year.
Guerra definitely over-played his hand against the bronco pty ltd.
But I wanna erase the memory of that game as well...........I'm trying to pretend we forfeited as a protest against the nrl.

Guerra should be on the bench. He can cover all positions very well. I don't think he is in our top 6 anymore.

My issue with Guerra is why he is such a ball hog. He flat out refuses to pass before the line. Twice against the Broncos he had his left winger free outside him. He was free because of the good work of Mitch Aubusson on the inside. Got outside his man, quick hands to Guerra, then Guerra should have passed immediately.
Both times Guerra did what he always does. Ignored the overlap, and chose to try to break the tackle and then pass if free. Both times he was shut down by the cover.
He has done this all year. A guy on Origin money.

If u r gonna have him playing that wide, then he needs to be able to pass the &%$#@ ball.
My issue too, I love che but he spent the first half of the season suffocating fergo, then the latter half choking Jennings, robbo ain't stupid but that's stupid. Put someone with a good offload running wide, he pretty much just got in the way of Maloney and jenko

I like Che and want him to play his career here. He's a winner and is more valuable than other players who seem to be untouchable in here.

I think Guerra has unfairly copped a bad rap for his performance against Brisbane..

                He tried his heart out.

Yes I remember a couple of times it looked like he should have passed the ball to Jennings, but that is not really his job. Maloney should have been hitting Jennings.

Guerra made the second most meters of all of our forwards after SST. He made the second most tackles for the team after Jake and he made the most tackle breaks of the game.

Not a bad effort if you ask me....

Guerra is best when hitting holes on the fringes. Hasn't done that for a while.

It might continue that way next season with Maloney gone.

                  Same goes for Aubs.

He also cost us the critical third try by not coming across in the middle.

                        .
Vasco , I have had abit of time to watch a few replays and honestly , Che has been running heaps of lines and over the try line a heap of times too, but the pass selection chosen by the ball players seem to pick alternative runners.

Currently we are equating commitment with the act of scoring points, not the effort which goes with the task, we will never know if the error lies with Pass selection, preconceived Game plan or good defense by the opposition.

Fark me, ring the bell. We have a winner!

Mybe this is Why aaron Woods may be a good signing if we can get him improve him and with JWH barging up the middle throw in Nappa and then Guerra can play his more natural running game.

What I don't understand is this... he is obviously underperforming for whatever reason. 10 hitups and 30 tackles a game is nothing more than average. He doesn't have an offload in him and doesn't pose any threat to opp D. In a good season he get's over the line half a dozen times. He's clumsy and a liability at marker play.

So why hasn't Robbo picked up on this?
