    A paragraph from Greg Pritchard found in RLW which should have been titled "Haters just love to hate";

    http://rugbyleagueweek.com.au/robinson-jack-gibson/

    "As much as they might like to talk about stability and getting the right people in place and making better citizens of players and all of that, the Roosters can be an unforgiving club if success – ultimately defined by the winning of grand finals – doesn’t happen regularly enough for their liking."
    Yeah, and all of that.

    We're sorry that the Roosters are a successful club, professionally run and one that doesn't shirk from it's responsibility to nurture and develop decent young men, season after season. Instilling in these young men a hunger to not waste their talent and become the best they can be, whether that be on the park, in the classroom, or away from football entirely as members of society is the very fabric of our club.

    Unforgiving and seemingly setting the bar too high...
    No more than is life, whether it's life in the world of business, or when confronted with complicated issues or just a fork in the road in this modern and sometimes complex world. Hang on to your mediocrity Greg, we'll call you if we need any.

    Talk?
    That's a bit rich coming from a journo who mixes talk with trash. The Roosters do more than just talk about these things.

      Exactly. Low life scribes otherwise would have nothing to write about while pointing their fingers at the NRL and clubs and going on about how players live in these bubbles and should try living in the real world.

      Isn't funny how a single paragraph such as the one quoted seems to sneak into articles like this one. Deliberate?... or does it merely show the bias they claim not to possess.

        Greg Pritchard is a journalist of the calibre of Phil Rothfield and Jim and Rebecca Wilson.

          That exact sentiment extends to our fan base. 3 successive minor premierships, one premiership and one world club championship is considered a failure.

            It may not be failure in totality but I imagine even the club views the last two finals campaigns as unsuccessful. That is certainly how I feel.

            And to pritchard, yawn.

              I'd consider it a disappointment, not a failure.
              It ain't easy winning even one premiership.

                  Everything in the article is correct except the bit about Stuart being a great coach.

                    In sport, when you win you get praised and when you lose, your kicked to the gutter. Its just the way it is. Accept it and move on.

                      Mate, that guy has an obsession in criticising other members for having an opinion. He, I'm assuming it's a he, spends more time doing that than actually contributing to a topic. Wasting oxygen.
