If he's deserving of a second chance by proving he's turned himself around then good luck to him I hope he gets it.

I don't know much about the kid other than what we've read in the papers and that's to be taken with a pinch of salt.

The one positive to come out of signing troubled players is that they usually come cheap, so if it doesn't work out no great loss but if it does hey bonus.

I'm not sure if he will need any Ok's from the NRL to return but regardless, the Dogs are waiting... no doubt with their over's chequebook well and truly open for obvious reasons.
The so called 'family club' as it's being currently sold have a blueprint all mapped out with a rough development program including community work for Willis (now a Muslim convert) already spoken about. This includes the ok to continue pursuing a boxing career whilst playing with the Dog's. CEO Raeleen Castle's NZ connections also on offer. Their arguement is they have the right structure and people at the club if Willis wants it. The enticement is 3rd party payment arrangments down the track said to be potentially very lucritive if all things go to plan.

You can take that one to the bank.

          I don't trust banks.

The bulldogs/ berries/ scum/ hypocrites , whatever you want to call them , are always on the market.
I don't think SBW would be pushing him in that direction.
If Polites and Robbo want him back I reckon he'll stay.

Maybe a little drastic, but more of a risk than the other 2nd chances we have given.
Setaimata Sa and Anthony Cherrington immediately come to mind.

Would those against signing Meehan prefer we kept Suaia Matagi?

Time will tell I suppose ...
Except... Jake Friend did nothing? He:
                  - Went to sleep in a cab.
                  - got charged with punching some chick (who is a journo's daughter and was trying to milk a story). Charges were dismissed because he did nothing and it was all a beat up.

Seeing as though you think we'll have first dibs here, how much do you pay him over what length contract and I'll tell you if I think you're dreaming.

It doesn't matter what I think we should pay him. If Nick Politis really wants him, he will sign for the Roosters. Don't think for a moment that we don't have 'third party' sponsors who can't come to the party.

So what your saying is after already being identified as a future talent by the Roosters, either POS or Robbo (or both) were unable to convince Politis to resign him 2nd time around, if he ends up signing elsewhere for 2016.

That's pretty much the case. His mentor won't be playing elsewhere and that is due to Politis not Robbo or POS.

All piddling stuff compared to Meehan and there is plenty that was kept quiet too.

Just to be clear, you are talking SBW right? If so, and SBW doesn't end up playing NRL at all this will be because Politis doesn't want him to, correct?
