Is being shopped around to clubs - clearly not in the Panthers plans. Moylan is going to be in the Panthers 6 jumper next season apparently.

It could be a good opportunity (for the right price) to solve several problems for us.

Firstly, an exceptional goal kicker to replace Maloney. An experienced head, who from memory spent time playing alongside Pearcey in Chooks lower grades.

Also allows us to move Hastings to fullback for a more potent attacking weapon.

On the downside - constantly injured, platinum-grade wanker and a defensive turnstile.

    Thoughts?

If there were any plans to play Hastings at fullback we wouldn't have let Maloney go.

If there is any money available, it should go towards a specialist FB on a 2 year deal.

I could be wrong, but i just can't see SOH as our short term fullback solution whilst Latrell develops. I watched him play at the back for the AU 20's and i wasn't convinced.

Hastings wil play at stand off imo. Pearce at 7. Nikorima utility. We've also signed young Matterson another five eighth and Henderson a back up for Jake.

It'll be interesting to see if we re-sign Maubs who's contract expires at the end of 2016. I'm not sure if we'll hold onto Mcilwrick. Probably no need!

There's a shortage of halves so Soward can still demand 400-500k a year. Perhaps Super League.

There's being in the silly season and then there's 'are you currently under psychiatric treatment?'

And to make it clear where I stand, if we're stuck with the Goober until he retires then for the love of Freddy, put him the in 5/8th spot.
        SUPER DRAGON!

We have made a huge offer to Tedesco and will not look elsewhere for a fullback until he makes a decision. As for Soward, no way. We are going forwards not backwards.

Why didn't we make this huge offer to Roger?
If Tedesco comes where does that leave Mitchell.

All this talk about teddy coming to us is ridiculous. Wishful thinking at best.

Soward is the biggest hoax in the competition. I don't know how anyone can rate this pretender. If there was a stat for the player who got tackled the least in the comp Soward would win it hands down. The guy is scared of contact and refuses to run at the line.
Next time u watch him play (if someone is silly enough to sign him) count how many times he takes the line on. There is a 95% chance the number is zero.

He has lasted this long in the nrl coz of an excellent kicking game. The guy was a touch football star like Benji and shaun Johnson. And that's how he plays the game.

I don't quite agree that he is a hoax. I don't think any half that plays all year and wins a premiership can be a hoax. He steers his team around well and as you said as a great kicking game. Wouldn't gain a start in our squad though.

Taupau, Galloway and Lawrence to name a few. Why on earth would they get rid of their best young star? People are clutching at straws. There will be no more major signings for us going into next year.

                        Aren't you a lol@Souffs fan?

Either way, zero chance that the Tigers release by far their best player.

Let us dream will ya, Tedesco would look much better in a RWB jumper.

Complete garbage. Tedesco will not be here, we would never be able to compete on price. At a stretch, the most affordable established fb we could have got was Michael Gordon

Mate he has been moved on from every club he has played for. Even in England. Would you want a 5/8 that never ran with the ball, except in broken play?
Penrith would love for him to move on, for that very reason. And it's the same reason he wasn't picked for origin when his name was getting thrown around. He is scared of contact.
