Looks like the same thing but with a roof and a Roosters thingy? It's be GREEEEAT if is was actually our home ground rather than a public venue that gets dressed up a bit for games.

For example in Melbourne there's lots of murals and tributes to the players. Also, the ground announcer y'know... intimidates the away crowd a little.

Lets not forget that we struggle to attract much more than 10,000 supporters to most of our games. Did someone say "white elephant"?

You sound like the the Daily Telegraph with those comments.. You do realise the club had the 6th best crowd average out of 16 clubs?

Did anyone else get a survey emailed to them about attending games and pricing? One section had questions asking how much you would be prepared to pay to watch specific matches. One said:

Would you be prepared to pay $85 to watch the Roosters play the Titans?

I think the half-time entertainment would need to be pretty top notch to get me to pay that money for that game. I'm thinking a personal lap dance from Beyonce - or something similar.

They are looking at charging differently depending on the game. I think it makes sense. That $85 would have to be a typo.

I think the stadium will be amazing. They use those screens to block off the whole top section for "club" games to make it more intimate. Then they open it up for the big games.

Well I have also attended and watched countless games where most of the stadium was actually closed and the atmosphere was about as exciting as the local lawn bowls club. What is your point dumbo?

Did you reply yes you would pay $85 to watch the Roosters play the Titans, as long as it included return airfares and a nights accommodation on the Gold Coast

I am happy to mind one of those big screens while they do the renovations.....who wants the other one?

Why half do the job, its should be a complete roof, to make it totally weatherproof, the only venue like it in NSW, once again a botched plan.

when the sfs was planned to takeover from the sports ground it was planned with a roof but the lib govt at the time thought it was too expensive and canned it!

It should be like Yankee frigging stadium then. Have a sense of awe walking past club legends

Surely Souths Hobos and Bulldog Terrorists won't be allowed in this stadium.
